Stoppen bij: Woljeongri Beach staat bekend om zijn landschap, rustige witte zand en zeer mooie smaragdgroene oceaan. In de buurt van het strand liggen een aantal gezellige en mooie cafés langs de straten. Duur : 15min Van Woljeongri Beach naar Seongsan ilchulbong 40 minuten
Stoppen bij : UNESCO-erfgoed, gelegen aan de oostkust van het eiland Jeju en naar verluidt op een gigantisch oud kasteel. Deze tufsteenkegel is 182 meter hoog, heeft een bewaard gebleven komachtige krater en vertoont ook diverse innerlijke structuren die het resultaat zijn van de zeeklif . Lunch na Seongsan ilchulbong. Jeju haenyeo zijn de sterke moeders van Jeju en de spirituele pijlers van de inwoners van Jeju. Ook is het leven van de Jeju haenyeo-gemeenschap een model waar de mensheid naar moet streven. Jeju haenyeo vormde een op verdiensten gebaseerde gemeenschap en besliste democratisch via discussies. Ze zorgde niet alleen voor ouderen en zieken, zoals Halmang Badang en Geseok, en zamelde met haar materiële winst geld in om bij te dragen aan de samenleving, zoals dorpen en scholen. Ze bedacht ook verschillende constructies om naast de zee te kunnen bestaan, zoals strandvegen, goudroof en dialyse. De Jeju haenyeo-cultuur werd erkend vanwege zijn waarde en werd op 30 november 2016 (lokale tijd) geregistreerd als immaterieel cultureel erfgoed van de mensheid door UNESCO.
De totale lengte van Manjanggul Lava Tube is ongeveer 7,4 km. Het is een lavabuis die gedeeltelijk uit meerdere lagen bestaat. De hoofdtunnel is 18m breed en 23m hoog. Het is een van de grootste lavabuizen ter wereld. Er zijn veel lavabuizen in de wereld, maar Manjanggul Lava Tube heeft een belangrijke betekenis omdat het duizenden jaren geleden is gevormd en zeer goed bewaard is gebleven. Daarom is het zeer waardevol voor onderzoekers en wetenschappers. Door het verzakken van het plafond zijn er 3 ingangen. Degene die toeristen kunnen gebruiken is de tweede ingang en ze mogen er maar tot 1 km in. Er zijn verschillende grotformaties in de Lavatunnel in Manjanggul Lava Tube, zoals stalactieten, stalagmieten, flowstones, lavabuizen, lavaplanken en lavavlotten. Met name de lavakolom die zich aan het einde van het toeristische gebied bevindt is ongeveer 7,6 meter hoog en staat bekend als de hoogste lavakolom ter wereld.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
De chauffeur wacht op u bij het ophaalpunt of UW hotel. Bij het ophalen op de luchthaven van Jeju wacht de chauffeur bij aankomstpoort 1 op de luchthaven van Jeju. Houd uw naamkaartje vast. Wanneer u wordt opgehaald bij de Jeju Cruise Terminal, wacht de chauffeur op u bij de uitgang van de cruiseterminal. Houd uw naamkaartje vast.

- Als de Manjanggul-grot gesloten is (elke eerste woensdag van de maand), wordt het Jeju Haenyeo Museum aangeboden als alternatieve rondleiding
- De Manjanggul-grot, een werelderfgoedlocatie, zal als volgt gesloten zijn vanwege veiligheidsinspectie en interne constructie. Opschorting van de exploitatie 29.12.2023. ~ 31-08-2025. dus vervangen door een andere plaats.

The driver was very nice but hard to understand. I had requested a private tour with someone who spoke English and my group had a difficult time understanding what he was saying. Also, we expected a driver and a tour guide, as we got with other tours, so we would learn about what we were seeing and that didn't happen - we only had a driver who didn't explain things to us. But nice guy!

Amazing island. We had an our own taxi driver Mr.Kim who drove us around and showed all the places. He waited for us while we visited a historical place, waterfall, beach, a hike to a peak point and had some lunch. He was very flexible on organized but also came with suggestions which order to the different activities.

We had a great day touring Jeju with our tour guide Yohan Ko! He was at our hotel on time and took us to some great cultural spots on the island, including a fun folk village, a wonderful beach, the amazing Sunrise Peak, and a fun Cafe with tons of picture opportunities. The best part about having Yohan as our tour guide was that he is a great photographer and took pictures of our family and sent them to us as part of his service. He was also energetic and knowledgeable about the island (including a great Chinese-Korean noodle restaurant), and even stopped at a favorite Jeju bakery to share goodies with us. I totally recomend this tour for families that want to see Jeju Island's best sites.

Our tour guide, Mr. Ko, did not fail to make this tour truly amazing and interesting. Though it was raining that day, we had much fun and enjoyed all the activities. Thanks to Mr. Ko for taking nice photos of the Jeju attractions we visited and for recommending great lunch at a local restaurant.

This was my second visit to Korea with my family along with my buddy's fam. And this also happens to be my second time engaging Mr. Lee as our driver/tour guide for Jeju. After 9 long years, we are so happy to see his big friendly smiley face again. Our group of 8 pax (including a 2yo) were comfortably seated in a 10-seater van, bringing us around Jeju island. We were treated with the nicest of food, great scenic places and plentiful of happy and interesting conversation about life and history about Jeju, which created loads of wonderful moments especially for our kids. I believe this is important traits of a travel agency, instead of the others that bring you places out of vested interest and it's agency's benefits. You will not see that with Namyang Travel. We had such a great time touring around Jeju over the past 2 days with Mr Hong Young Pyo in his very comfortable 6 seater car! We are extremely happy with Mr Hong’s services and the tour that he had planned for us. Mr Hong takes very good care of us and he always helped to take photos for us at every attractions. My son likes Mr Hong a lot and cannot stop asking Mr Hong to join us at every attractions and always worried for Mr Hong whenever he is not having his meal together with us. Mr Hong also brought us to a hidden local abalone guksu restaurant which turned out to be the best meal we had in Jeju, it is not the most expensive but definitely the most delicious and unforgettable meal.
