Hier begint onze rondreis. Er zijn twee belangrijke monumenten in Klarov. Gedenkteken voor het Tweede Verzet en het Gevleugelde Leeuwenmonument. We zullen je vertellen hoe Tsjechoslowakije onafhankelijk werd in de Eerste Wereldoorlog, waarom het een van de eerste landen was die Hitler bezette en wat er gebeurde met Tsjechoslowaakse soldaten tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Je leert het lot van de Tsjechische Joodse mensen, hoeveel van hen erin slaagden te emigreren en wat er gebeurde met degenen die dat niet deden.
Hier, naast het oude stadhuis, vertellen we het verhaal van de opstand in Praag en leggen we uit hoe het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog het toneel vormde voor de opkomst van het communisme in Tsjechoslowakije.
Wat gebeurde er nadat het communisme in Tsjecho-Slowakije begon? Waarom vielen de legers van het Warschaupact Tsjecho-Slowakije binnen in 1968? En waar was de plaats van de zelfverbranding van Jan Palach?

My family of four—two adults and two teen boys—had a fabulous tour with Kamil for WWII and Communism, and an equally wonderful tour with Dita of the castle area.
