De kust van Amalfi, door Unesco beschouwd als een uitstekend voorbeeld van een mediterraan landschap, is een van de meest memorabele bestemmingen van Italië. Hier duiken bergen in de zee in een zenuwslopend verticaal tafereel van steile rotsen, aan kliffen vastklampende woningen en groene bossen. Er is jetset-favoriet Positano, een pastelkleurige cascade van chique boetieks, spritz-nippende pin-ups en zonovergoten zonaanbidders. Verder naar het oosten lokt het oude Amalfi met zijn Arabisch-Normandische kathedraal. In het westen ligt Sorrento, de toegangspoort tot de Amalfikust, een mooi resort op een klif dat op wonderbaarlijke wijze de aanval van het pakkettoerisme heeft overleefd. Afgezien van de turkooizen zee en filmische pleinen, herbergt de regio enkele van de beste hotels en restaurants van Italië. Het is ook een van de beste plekken van het land om te wandelen, met goed gemarkeerde paden die de kans bieden om te ontsnappen aan de door sterren geteisterde drukte aan de kust.

Positano is een waar paradijs, verticaal ontwikkeld in een wirwar van straten, steegjes en winkels die de kleurrijke Positano-mode die over de hele wereld bekend is, tentoonstellen. In het stadscentrum staat de parochiekerk van Santa Maria Assunta die opduikt met zijn grote koepel, betegeld met majolica en een aantal kostbare werken herbergt, zoals polychrome marmeren altaren. Voor Le Sirenuse Hotel liggen vier kleine eilanden in de uitgestrektheid van de blauwe zee.
Amalfi, de oudste maritieme republiek van Italië en symbool van de kust van Amalfi, blijft bezoekers betoveren net als in de dagen van de Grand Tour. Iets meer dan drie vierkante kilometer verwoestend mooi landschap aan de monding van de Valle dei Mulini: dit is Amalfi, een stad die zich als een waaier naar de zee opent, van achteren beschut door de steile hellingen van de Monti Lattari. De oude Romeinse oorsprong van Amalfi blijkt uit een aantal ruïnes, waaronder die van een nymphaeum dat dateert uit het bewind van keizer Tiberius. Amalfi is de oudste van de vier grote maritieme republieken van Italië en bloeide drie eeuwen lang onder de Noormannen, Longobarden en zelfs de Saracenen. Het verval begon in 1137 toen het werd verslagen en geplunderd door de rivaliserende republiek Pisa.
Ravello was founded in the 5th century as a shelter place against the barbarian invasions which marked the end of the Western Roman Empire. In the 9th century Ravello was an important town of the maritime Republic of Amalfi. It was an amazing experience and breathtaking views . The churches , the shops souvenirs the delicious food everything were spectacular that I decided to go back here with more vacation. To Francisco and Florin were great people , professional helpful and informative around the tour .

I don't know where to begin, except to say that Miss Bianca and our driver, Roberto, were outstanding! From the beginning, Bianca made sure to tailor they day to what we want. We were originally slated to go to Amalfi and then to Positano, but we pivoted and started in Sorrento - I am so glad we did! Bianca knew exactly where to go and we had amazing experiences at an inlaid wood shop, the narrow streets and shops and an outstanding lunch at an off-the-beaten-path restaurant. Bianca made sure to give us free time when we wanted it, and Roberto did an amazing job of navigating the tricky roads along the coast! I was leery about that much driving in one day, but it was so worth it!! Thank you - I will definitely be booking again with this company on our next adventure!

Do yourself a favor and don't attempt to drive the Amalfi coast or you will miss so much beauty and waste time finding parking everywhere. Luigi is an expert driver, so sit back and relax, allow Rosanna to share points of interest while driving through the area. She was able to make a lunch reservation overlooking the beach where food and view perfect. Rosanna also knows everyone, so gelato, toilets, shopping is easy!

Rosana is perfecto!!! She is an awesome and wonderful tour guide you surely will not regret for giving ur business to. I had this awesome trip and she goes above and beyond my expectation. She allowed me to wander at places and took me to a lot of nice local places. It absolutely no wrong door when going with the local—eat local and buy from local. She took me to a nice friendly and good restaurant in town— super friendly staff and very good and fresh seafood ( the price is pricey though but worth trying). The trip went over the schedule for sure so it is worth the price as what you get is not only the trip itself but more ( to figure out urself when ur going with her). After trip service is something i never expect. Its my first time in Italy and i had quite a few troubles since i traveled during covid. However, she was nice enough to always help me when i reached out. Surely the after trip service is not included but she was there helping me out whenever I needed. Overall, this was the most memorable trip while I was in Rome. Will definitely book her again in my future visit Love from USA P/s: she is also a very good photographer.
