Tour with Josue. Went with 2 friends and had a fabulous time. Josue was very friendly and informative. Far exceeded my expectations. A more enjoyable trip than any of the boat ride trips. Would definitely recommend this trip.

What an amazing experience. Great local knowledge and Josue went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. We saw a different side of Porto and got to see the mountains. Didn't know what to expect but it far exceeded my expectations. Better than any boat ride.

Incredible! I got this tour for my teenage son, but my mom and I ended up loving it just as much as he did. We got picked up at our hotel in a cool Land Rover. The ride to the mountains was short with some surprises on the way. You get an amazing view of Porto from the top of a mountain and then hold on tight! It you love a thrill, this tour is for you!

Josue has been the absolute best tour guide and wheelman! The mountains are a short 20 minute drive away, with little surprises in between. If you like nature and a thrill, this is the perfect tour. The offload trails are incredible. We had so much fun.

Our guide was excellent. He knew the area and the trails very well and we felt secure with his skills.

Ricardo was our guide for this day. He was extremely knowledgeable and took very good care of us on our day trip to the mountains. We loved off roading in the mountains to see the Eucalyptus trees. The little village we went to was lovely and was able to experience the local culture. We would 1,000% recommend this tour if you’re in Porto

Wonderful time with Joshua in this off road tour. It was great to get out of the city, to see some mountain life and the views were exceptional. Learned so much of Portuguese history and culture. The ride was also very exhilarating! Thank you. We would highly recommend this tour.

I highly recommend this activity, It was so much fun and beautiful! Josué was an amazing guide and he was so nice to my son that kept thanking me for taking him in this tour! Josué also has such a great playlist that made a difference and also the place we stopped for a drink was just so charming. I just have good things to say, just do it :)

My husband and I took this trip at the beginning of June and it was just the two of us in the Landrover with Ricardo. We had a fabulous four hours being shown the true and natural Portugal. We learned a lot and Ricardo is passionate about the area he has lived in all his life. We started at the oldest biscuit and bread bakery which was great, as was the village and church. We then went up into the hills on rough tracks and saw the old gold mines which were fascinating. Ricardo pointed out cork trees and explained the harvesting. The drive itself was fun and interesting with several view points - just wait for the “roller coaster”! We finished with a visit to an almost deserted hamlet on the El Camino and listened to the frogs singing in the river - there were literally thousands of tiny froglets emerging from the river and crossing the road (we were lucky to see this seasonal activity). Then on to a drink at a rustic cafe where we met locals cooking lunch on an open fire while the cats looked on with hope. My husband who generally doesn’t like trips decided it was the best trip he had ever been on. Before the trip Ricardo sent text messages to us regarding meeting him at the dock gate and we found him with no trouble. A week after we got back home he followed up with another text message to send us photos and wish us well. We wish him well also for the future. Definitely recommend this trip if you want to see a piece of genuine Portugal without the crowds.
