Tijdens deze twee uur durende tocht langs de rivier de Douro aan boord van een klassieke boot kunt u de schoonheid van de oevers van de stad Porto en Vila Nova de Gaia bewonderen terwijl u ontspant met muziek en de geluiden van de omringende natuur. Opgemerkt moet worden dat wij de enige zeilboot zijn die de Dom Luis I-brug kan oversteken, waardoor een reis van de monding van de Douro naar Freixo mogelijk is via de 6 bruggen die de stad Porto met Vila Nova de Gaia verbinden. Ondanks dat het een gedeelde ervaring is, heeft onze boot verschillende ruimtes met banken en kussens voor uw comfort, waardoor u een meer intieme ervaring kunt beleven als u dat wenst. Zoals de naam van onze boot aangeeft, kom HAPPY op de Douro.

The boat is gorgeous and the seats both fore and aft are very comfortable. Blankets were brought out when it got chilly. The drinks and charcuterie board were prepared with care and beautifully presented. The information about the bridges and cities was so interesting! We loved the experience and are so glad we chose the Happy Douro. I would absolutely do it again, it was so relaxing and sweet after a long day walking up and down the hills in the city!
Great trip on the river. The hosts were lovely as well. Would recommend to anyone who wishes to see Porto from seaside🙂
It was an amazing experience! Highly recommend it with family who have kids. The couple who runs the tour made us feel very comfortable. They served a cheese and crackers board with tomato and pumpkin jam that was made by her mom and it was delicious.
What a true treasure this boat tour was! It’s a nice intimate setting as they only allow 10 people max on the boat. The snacks and wine were delicious - our kids also loved that they got to drink their water and juice out of “super fancy glasses”. There were also fleece blankets provided, as it does get a bit breezy on the river. Bruna was so sweet and attentive, a perfect host! We loved that the boat moved slowly on the river as we were being passed by the larger tour operators. It was so relaxing and really allowed us to take it all in. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a “sunset” view, but we can’t control the clouds and I don’t think it took away from the experience. I’d still highly recommend the tour - sunshine or not! It was a great way to end our time in Porto 💕

This tour was very relaxing and fun. It is run by a very nice couple and their boat is very comfortable. There are cushions with backs to relax on. You get one drink for free and a good size charcuterie board with some delicious snacks from the area. It was definitely chilly on the river so I recommend wearing warmer clothes for sure. You get so see all the bridges in Porto and a beautiful sunset. They even brought out a hammock at the end to hang off the back of the boat! So fun and relaxing and highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxing way to see the shoreline of Porto.
This evening cruise was perfect in every way. The boat is small enough that you don’t feel packed in but large enough that it feels very steady to glide through the water. The hosts provided great drinks, a great meat and cheese plate and plenty of information about the area. But they also gave us time to just enjoy the surroundings and the sunset. What a gift this was! We highly recommend it!
