Het is een zeer Portugese ervaring, met luidruchtige locals, ongedwongen eten en elke plek met een eigen unieke sfeer. Onze gidsen zijn gepassioneerd over hun eten, dus kom langs om de geschiedenis te leren en te eten tot uw hart. Deze rondleiding dient als een volledige lunch, dus kom met een lege maag!

Met in totaal 5 stops, meer dan 15 delicatessen met hapjes en 4 groene wijnen (Portugese traditionele wijn), is deze 4-uur durende tour ongetwijfeld een pretentieloze ervaring, je haat de luidruchtige Portugezen of houdt van de oprechte nederigheid van de lokale tasca-eigenaren. Je gidsen kennen de eetcultuur van Porto, dus kom er meer over te weten. Proef enkele van de beste Portugese hapjes met een selectie van unieke Portugese tasca's. Authentieker dan dit wordt het niet. Deze tour dient als een volledige lunch. De eerste stop is op de markt, waar we observeren waar de lokale bevolking hun eten vandaan haalt en een paar hapjes proeven. If you’re in Porto, this is a must-do experience! The tapas and wine tour with Porto Walkers was fantastic. We got to enjoy plenty of delicious tapas paired with excellent local wines, and everything was thoughtfully selected. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into Porto’s history, culture, and food scene throughout the tour. It was the perfect combination of great food, fantastic wine, and a fun, informative experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Porto! If you want it to sound even more authentic, you could add a personal touch like, “I only wish I’d done it earlier in my visit!” or “I’d happily do it again.
This was the best guided tour from Joao! He gave us a very detailed history of the city!
Lara is super knowledgeable about Portugal's history and culture in relation to the food and gastronomy of the region. Ines was amazing at coordinating and having everything set up at every step of the tour. Truly a superpower team creating a smooth, informative, delicious experience!

My parents and I booked on to the Tapas & Vinho Verde tour and were lucky enough to be the only ones booked on so effectively got a private tour. Lara was very friendly and answered all of our questions not only about the food & wine but more general questions around Portugal and daily life. Lara was also kind enough to share her recommendations for elsewhere in Porto and Lisbon through a curated google maps page, which we continued to use throughout the rest of our trip. The tour was a great introduction to Porto and it's wonderful tapas. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Just make sure you can handle a few glasses of wine as the pours are very generous :)
We had an amazing port wine tour in Porto with our guide, Alex. We visited three different port houses, tasted some delicious ports, and learned a lot along the way. Alex was incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun from start to finish. We also met some great people during the tour, which made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if you're visiting Porto and want an authentic and memorable port wine experience!
We usually arrange a food and wine walking tour on the first day of any holiday to get a flavour of the local cuisine and explore the local environment. The hotel advised us to book with Porto Walkers and I booked in advance of arrival and am so pleased we did! There was a wide range of food and drinks included, local wines, port (of course!), spirit and liquor all accompanying some delicious foods savory, sweet, hot and cold across a range of locations! Lara was a terrific guide and we had a brilliant 4+ hours exploring, eating and drinking our way across the town! Highly recommended and THE best food and wine tour we have experienced! And no tripe! Our host Lara was excellent. She was friendly, informative, and knowledgeable about local wine and cuisine. We spent a lovely afternoon touring local Portugese markets and restaurants getting a wide range of tastes. There was more than enough food and wine we finished the tour very satisfied.
Lara and Inês were fantastic guides. We were lucky to have a private tour (which probably led to us having even more food and wine than normally), which made it more than worth it. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get an introduction to Porto food and wine and a great overview of the market.
