We had an amazing time! From start to finish, everything was fantastic- the captain, the first mate, the food and wine were also excellent. Between the beautiful views and the great service, it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a waterside way to experience Porto!

Goncalo and Kika were amazing at leading a private yacht tour along the Douro. I could not recommend them enough. They were punctual in the pickup, professional, warm, and friendly. The boat was clean, with plenty of space, and safe. My wife and I went up to the front of the boat, and Kika told us about the bridges, the river, and the history on both sides of the river in Porto. My wife and I were overtaken with the beauty of the experience. Snacks and wine were also great! Goncalo also had a great dinner recommendation for us to get us over to Gaia and experience another side of Porto. My wife and I took the two hour cruise as part of our honeymoon and it was the highlight of our trip to Portugal.

Our cruise with Atalaia Gold was a wonderful experience. Communication with Alex, the owner, leading up to tour time was perfect and I had all the pre-cruise information I needed. The boat was clean and in fine shape. We were very lucky to get Leo and Ramos as our crew. They also were very informative and helpful. They offered us wine and charcuterie while we cruised the river. This would have been a great experience with any other crew, but Leo and Ramos made it a special time for us. Atalaia Gold should be on your itinerary on your next visit to Porto! We are eager to return and when we do, we undoubtedly will be cruising with Atalaia Gold again!

We lucked out when we got Gil and Inez for this evening! The boat was brand new and sparkling clean! We had very comfortable seats up top and Gil and Inez served us lovely green wine (and a lot of it :) and gave us a huge plate of cheese, ham and more! We learned so much as we cruised up the Douro River and had the most marvelous time! We highly recommend this tour and Gil and Inez!

Alex and Diego were great guides! They saved our evening after our first boat tour flopped, and kindly offered us spots on their tour. Great wines and local cheese/meat snacks. Very fun vibes, it was the perfect balance between fun and informative. Both Alex and Diego also gave great recommendations on local restaurants, bars, and food while also teaching us some great Portuguese phrases!

Beautiful, relaxing trip down the river. Just when you think it can’t get better….drinks and snacks!!!!

We had a wonderful time. The guides were knowledgeable, the wine was cold, and the Duoro was gorgeous. We left Porto knowing so much more and with lots of memories from our time on the River. My granddaughter now wants to go back to ride the boat! Fun for the whole family!

We had such an amazing experience. The crew (two brothers) were so polite, informed and helpful. They explained the history, answered all our questions and provided the most wonderful charcuterie and drinks! We give it a 5+++

I can’t give more stars than 5 - but I would! Alexandre and his co- captain did an amazing job on our tour. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and driven to the boat. While on board, we got a great tour along the river in Porto, wine and cheeses. Was happy to support this growing business that is providing a first class experience. Can’t recommend enough!
