I booked this experience through Google when another provider was booked out. Originally this was going to be 5 participants but when the other 4 all cancelled they still provided me with a one on one class. It was great to hear Tania’s chef tricks and tips (such as using baking paper to reduce sauces) and the local dishes were fabulous. I even managed to recreate in Australia using local ingredients.

My husband and I booked this cooking class while on our honeymoon in Porto. Tania and Tomas were incredible! The kitchen was very intimate and made for a more personable experience. Tania is an excellent chef who gave information and history about each dish we made in class. Tomas is a specialist in wine and gave us interesting facts about each wine and cocktail. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Thank you Tania and Tomas!

Some experiences make a trip more beautiful, and this one clearly is part of that. This Portuguese cooking class was a true favorite. The two people who led it were as incredible as the experience itself: passionate, caring, and very attentive. They do not just pass on recipes; they also share their energy, culture, and heart. They managed to create an atmosphere where one feels immediately at home. I had a wonderful time, filled with laughter, exchanges, beautiful discoveries, and memories that will last. And on top of all that, the dishes were delicious! It was a true pleasure to discover Portuguese cuisine through this class. I recommend this experience 100% to everyone passing through Porto: go for it with your eyes closed! You leave with much more than just recipes: you leave with a true memory. I give 5 stars only because we can't give 6 ⭐!

Speaking of first impression, we were immediately blown away by the studio interior the moment we entered the door. The natural lights were perfectly casted through the long window panels overlooking this beautiful, bright yellow-painted facade of the building across the street. Straight out of a painting! The studio was very cozy of space and created this ambience of intimacy that made us feel like home. Tania and Tomas were so welcoming and inviting to us as they patiently explained the historical contexts and fun facts behind each drink and dish served. We'd also learned a great deal of cooking techniques. It was an experience so culturally immersive that we were so glad that we had. Would highly recommend anyone who's looking to experience Portuguese dishes with cultural contexts.

Lovely experience! The hosts were wonderful, expert instructors with the complete package of patience, expertise, enthusiasm and warmth. The cooking goes smoothly and seems easy due to their seemingly hands off approach but timely injections of guidance. Highly recommended, great experience!

Such a wonderful experience with Tomas, Barbara, and Tania. We organised this for my friend's hen do, who absolutely loves cooking and always wants to learn more and try cooking different things. Communication was great leading up to the booking and they looked after us so well during the experience. I would 100% recommend to friends and family.

A wonderful personal experience learning techniques we can take home and had a blast the entire time. Would absolutely recommend a must do in Porto!!

My two sisters and myself had so much fun with chef Tania and her sommelier husband Tomas. Chef Tania showed us how to make some traditional Portuguese dishes that were delicious. Tomas served us some very good wines that went well with the dishes we cooked. It was in a small intimate setting so we got some one on one instructions.
