This was an absolutely amazing experience. I went with João and had such a fun time. I will admit I knew nothing about wine, and I still don’t (though there was a nice tour about them), but I definitely enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this tour. I went by myself, and it was fine because everyone was so friendly that I felt very safe. The wine was absolutely delicious. We had a wine tasting at the stop. And then, during lunch, we had access to unlimited wine, followed by a tasting of Porto wine. We also went on a boat tour of the Duoro valley, and it was quite nice, especially as no one else was on the boat!!

First visit to Fonseco port lodge was fantastic educational experience. Then 2 smaller places were less exciting and very repetitive. We enjoyed some of the port wines more than others. And we learned a lot. Victor was very friendly and helpful
Porto is NOT flat. Unless you have mobility issues, don’t let some ups and downs stop you from enjoying a great walk around the city.

It was a really good trip with a great view and a lovely wine tasting. Dinner food was a little fast, but tasted good. Portvins tastings were really good and delicious. Thanks for a good trip Sara.
Sarah was a fantastic guide for our wine tour. She was funny, personable, and made the whole day so enjoyable. She kept everything running smoothly and made sure we had a great time at each stop. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!
Guide may have been a bit to young. Knowledge of area was very limited and was often negative. The group felt rushed often at times and he did not go out of his way to get to know the five people in his group at all
Rita iss an amazing guide, her kindness and ability to make everyone feel welcome and included. She is also very humourous. Absolutely love her jokes. By the end of the day, it felt less like a tour and more like a memorable day spent with a friend who wanted to show us the very best of her home. She knows the history well and always managed to slip in a bit of trivia every now and then.
