Excellent entertaining fado show. Guide could benefit from a microphone as I had to strain to hear against distant background noise.
This tour was great! The location is right on the main drag, so it's easy to find. You have a self-guided tour of the small museum, then you are divided into two groups for the main tour. It was very informative! After that, you are led upstairs and seated in a room with small tables, where you have two kinds of port to drink plus a few crackers. You are treated to a fado show, which was great!
The tour was a major disappointment. The group was so large we couldn’t hear or see the tour guide or the displays he was discussing. The performance for the fado show with very good, but again we were at the back of the room so not good sight lines. Overall not good value for the amount paid (28€ each).
As we went to sit there were no seats at tge tasting and show for us as overbooked. We were then given metal chairs that were more uncomfortable after waiting.
Nice museum and very good tour operators ! The port was good and the fado music very good. We listened for quite a while and could have used a sip of water during the concert that was longer than expected. Very good overall

This is a great event that combines two distinctly Portuguese experiences into one. Instead of combining dinner with a fado show that takes several hours and you can’t talk to the person you’re with, this is a 45 minute fado experience that was better for us and offered at the tail end of an entertaining distillery tour. The fado was terrific! And the distillery tour is educational and informative and delivered by lively and welcoming tour guides. We absolutely loved this experience. The tasting was also great

Excellent fado show, very good explanation of the origins of port wine and how it's made. Interactive exhibits are very illustrative. Very tasty wine too! Highly recommend.

It is missed that the explanation of the process is more dynamic, more audiovisual, and if possible with Spanish subtitles

Interesting tour with guide but the highlight was the Fado Show.
