Gedeelde en intieme boot beperkt tot slechts 5 gasten, kleine groep. Glijd langs de iconische Zes Bruggen van Porto, D. Luís, Infante, D. Maria Pia, São João en Freixo, met een bevoorrecht uitzicht over de stad. Deze boottocht duurt 1u30m en vindt plaats tussen de Foz do Douro en de historische bruggen die Porto en Vila Nova de Gaia verbinden. De ervaring begint bij Douro Marina, waar u aan boord stapt van een comfortabele boot, ideaal om te genieten van de rivier de Douro in een rustige omgeving, weg van de drukte. Terwijl u langs de rivier vaart, zult u architectonische uitzichten op de historische waterkant van Porto bewonderen, waaronder de Ribeira — een UNESCO-werelderfgoed — en de emblematische rivieroever van Vila Nova de Gaia. Tijdens de reis passeert u enkele van de meest iconische bruggen van de stad, zoals de Arrábida-brug, de Dom Luís I-brug, de Infantebrug, de Maria Pia-brug, de São João-brug en de Freixo-brug. De route duurt 1 uur en 30 minuten tussen de Foz do Rio Douro en de Ponte Infante D. Henrique. Vanuit de jachthaven van Douro kunt u via deze route de riviergebieden van de steden Porto en Vila Nova de Gaia zien. Een tour die voor altijd in je geheugen zal blijven.
De Arrábidabrug is een boogbrug over de rivier de Douro die Porto door het Arrábidagebied verbindt met Vila Nova de Gaia door het knooppunt Candal, in Portugal. Sinds de jaren 1930 was het noodzakelijk om alternatieve verbindingen te creëren met de oude bruggen D. Maria Pia en D. Luís om in te spelen op de groeiende stroom van wegverkeer. De Infante D. Henriquebrug werd ingehuldigd op 30 maart 2003. De Ponte Infante Dom Henrique, ook bekend als Ponte do Infante, is een brug die Vila Nova de Gaia verbindt met Porto, over de rivier de Douro, in Portugal. Vernoemd naar Infante D. Henrique, geboren in Porto, is het de meest recente brug die Porto en Gaia verbindt.
De mythische brug! Transport- en communicatiearchitectuur, uit de 19e eeuw. 19. IJzeren brug, voor weg-, spoor- en voetgangersverkeer, samengesteld uit twee metalen dekken, ondersteund door een grote ijzeren boog en vijf pijlers. De trays die zich op verschillende hoogtes bevinden, en met verschillende afmetingen, die zich aanpassen aan de oevers van de rivier, bieden toegang tot verschillende punten in de steden Porto en Vila Nova de Gaia. De hele constructie bestaat uit rechte en parabolische balken, gevuld met verticale balken die met elkaar verbonden zijn door andere die gekruist of loodrecht staan. Bij de bouw van de brug werd gespeeld met de diepe vallei waarin deze zich bevindt, met behulp van twee dekken, geplaatst op verschillende hoogtes en lengtes. Serra do Pilar of Serra de São Nicolau of Serra de São Nicolau de Vila Nova is een verhoging met uitzicht op de rivier de Douro gelegen in de parochie Santa Marinha, Vila Nova de Gaia, grenzend aan de stad Porto. Het beroemde Serra do Pilar-klooster is er gevestigd.
De D. Maria Piabrug is een spoorweginfrastructuur die de Noordelijke lijn over de rivier de Douro voerde, tussen de steden Porto en Vila Nova de Gaia, in het noorden van Portugal. Het werd ingehuldigd op 4 november 1877 en gesloten op 24 juni 1991, nadat het was vervangen door Ponte de São João.

This experience was by far our favorite on our trip to Portugal. The scenery, especially at sunset, is beautiful but it was our guide Paulo who made it magical. While Francisco steered the boat, Paulo shared interesting facts (of both the past and present) about what we were seeing. As a Porto native, he is incredibly knowledgable and a great storyteller. He even took photos for us the whole time so we could just relax and enjoy the ride! I cannot recommend this tour enough.

This boat tour was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all our expectations. Even though it’s a shared tour, the group was small, which made the experience feel relaxed, personal, and very enjoyable. Seeing Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia from the Douro River at sunset is truly something special. The views of the bridges, the Ribeira, and the city lights reflecting on the water were simply breathtaking.
