Vanuit Porto bieden wij u de mogelijkheid om twee steden in het noorden van Portugal te ontdekken die door velen worden aanbeden : • We verlaten Porto en na 1 uur rijden leert u Aveiro het "kleine Venetië" kennen met zijn grachten die de stad in twee delen verdelen. We nemen een rondleiding met een gids en bewonderen de architectuur, ontdekken de oude vissershuizen en de historische gebouwen van de stad. • Daarna maken we, afhankelijk van de gekozen modaliteit, een rit van 45 minuten aan boord van een van de traditionele “Moliceiros”-boten, vergelijkbaar in ontwerp met de Venetiaanse gondels. Na deze rit hebben we vrije tijd om de stad te bezoeken. • Daarna verlaten we Aveiro en gaan we richting Costa Nova, een van de meest spectaculaire stranden van Portugal, bekend om de emblematische gestreepte huizen die de baai omzomen. • Daarna bezoeken we het ⛪ capelha do senhor da Pedra, fotomoment! Deze kapel aan zee zal u verbazen. • Tot slot gaan we terug naar Porto met onvergetelijke herinneringen, boek nu!

We ontmoeten elkaar op het ontmoetingspunt met onze Gids. Nadat we elkaar hebben leren kennen, gaan we naar Aveiro, Costa Nova en de Capelha do Senhor da Pedra. Onderweg vertelt onze Gids u over de Portugese cultuur en geschiedenis.
Eenmaal in Aveiro zullen we genieten van een Gids tour met onze gids, die ons alle hoeken van Aveiro zal laten zien en in detail alle geschiedenis van de plaats zal uitleggen.
Daarna zullen we genieten van een ritje op de traditionele boot genaamd “moliceiro”. Onze lokale Gids aan boord laat ons de Ria de Aveiro, zijn zoutpannen en al zijn geschiedenis zien.
Na het bezoek en de boottocht genieten we van vrije tijd om op eigen houtje van de stad en de gastronomie te genieten.
Onze volgende stop is Costa Nova, ontdek de typische kleurrijke huizen en bezoek een van de meest emblematische stranden van Portugal.
Deze pittoreske 17e-eeuwse kapel ligt op de rotsen van het gelijknamige strand, in Vila Nova de Gaia. De bevoorrechte ligging op het graniet maakt het uitdagend tegenover de Atlantische Oceaan, ondanks het feit dat het geen 10 meter hoog wordt. Gebouwd op een zeshoekig plan in 1686 op een plaats van heidense culten, valt het op door zijn hoofdaltaar met barok houtsnijwerk en de twee zijaltaarstukken die Christus gekruisigd omringen. De toegangstrap ligt op 150 meter van de promenade, dus het is noodzakelijk om het zand en stenen over te steken om het te bereiken. Dit betekent dat het bij hoog water onmogelijk is om het te voet te bereiken, omdat het omgeven is door de zee.

Was a very fun, varied and fascinating trip with Pedro, Bruno & Lourdes! Good combination of Aveiro, Costa Nova and the chapel. Also my daughter of 11 from the fun!
I had a great time on this tour! The driver and guides were very friendly and professional. I liked the structure of the tour, there was plenty of free time to enjoy all of our stops. Daniel was very engaging and fun!
Maria and Hendrick were excellent guides, very knowledgeable and attentive to the clients. The trip overall was not great. Aviero is NOT like Venice! The boat trip was OK but didn’t really have any wow moments. The Oves Moles tasting was underwhelming. The visit to Costa Nova (an hour) started so far from the beach that it took 15 mins to walk to the water and thus 15 mins to return, leaving about 25 mins (5 mins for loo stop) to enjoy the beach. Similarly the visit to Capella do Senior da Pedro, because of where the coach has to stop, as soon as we had reached the chapel it was time to return the coach. No time to enjoy the chapel or the beach. Come on Buendia, there has to be a better way to organise this. Currently, I would not recommend this trip.

What a wonderful day. The weather was a perfect sunny day, not too hot and no wind. Our walk around the township of Aveiro was informative and not too long. The boat ride around the canals was pleasant and entertaining, free time to explore on our own was just enough. Costa Nova was a treat. A lovely seaside village whose colourful houses made for great photos and a walk on the beach was a taste of home for me. Calling on to visit the church built into a rock out on the ocean was fantastic. Our guides Maria and Bruno were excellent. Warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. They cared for us with clear instructions about times and where to meet up. Francisco, the bus driver, expertly drove us through narrow streets and on the freeway as well. Highly recommend this day trip.

I wasn’t sure about going on tours but I am so thankful we did. The experience is amazing and the tour guides are so knowledgeable and friendly. We have booked other tours. Oh and do the boat option
