Portland neemt pizza serieus – en deze tour is de makkelijkste, leukste manier om de scene in één wandeling te proeven. Je komt vier pizzeria’s tegen op een ontspannen route met korte wandelingen tussendoor (ongeveer ~1 mijl totaal), waarbij je een samengestelde progressie van stijlen en handtekeningen proeft. Dit is een volwaardige maaltijdervaring : elke gast krijgt bij elke halte een vol stuk (in totaal vier plakken). Je Gids houdt het ontspannen en sociaal terwijl hij snel en nuttig pizza-inzicht deelt – wat een geweldig stuk maakt, wat je moet bestellen en waar je vervolgens naartoe moet, afhankelijk van wat je het lekkerst vond. Pizza en drankjes zijn inbegrepen. Regen of zonneschijn, kom hongerig en klaar om te eten als een local.

Begin je tour bij een populaire buurtpizzeria in NW Portland. Ontmoet je Gids, krijg een kort overzicht van de route en de proeverij flow, en duik er dan meteen in met je eerste volledige slice. We’re a couple of West Portland locals who enjoyed learning about the downtown pizza scene. No deep dish on this tour, but good variety of unusual toppings and stellar crusts. Got lots of insight and good recommendations for restaurants from Beau beyond the pizza tour. Nice neighborhood walk. Come hungry.

When we walked into the first pizza place it looked so unassuming that we started to wonder what we’d signed up for. But then it was the absolute best slice of pizza ever! The next few places were also awesome, and it was very interesting learning about all the different styles, oven temps/techniques and how businesses in Portland fashioned their specific pizzeria. First time we’d tried Chicago Style and it was amazing.
This tour was fantastic.. Beau and Sebastian were friendly and informative on all aspects of each of the 4 locations we ate at during the tour. Being from Chicago i was totally surprised by how good the choices were for everyone. All for locations were different from Each other and the pizzas were served hot by the establishment. Each had it's own special pizza. Toppings I would never try on my own but now I would try them. Great tour. Lots of food and very friendly guides.
Bo met us promptly at first pizza place and proceeded to escort us for the next couple hours. We enjoyed walking while Bo shared information and answered questions about the area we were in. We learned about the history of Portland, and pizza, and ate our way through four different pizza joints. Bo is pleasant and knowledgeable. It was fun.
My son and I had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend it.
Bring your appetite! There was a wide variety of pizza to try, some I would have never imagined. There is something for everyone. Every slice was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and great recommendations which was needed because we are not from the area. This set us up for a great trip to Portland.
All of the pizzas were delicious, and the host (Beau) was very friendly and knowledgeable! We really enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be booking more tours in the future.

A surprisingly diverse variety of pizzas. And I’m from New York so I thought I knew pizza 😆 it was fun to try the variety. And walking between stops gave me just enough time to stretch and breathe a bit between slices. The tour guide Beau was excellent, and very knowledgeable about both pizza and the city of Portland. As a solo female traveler, this was a nice activity that gave me a culinary experience and an insiders look at Portland, while feeling very comfortable as a solo.

Great for both locals and out of town guests! I have lived here over 25 years and every time I do a food tour I learn something new about my city. This pizza tour was legit! Full slices and pies! Highly recommend! Eric was great and felt like he was just a friend we were hanging out with!
