Nadat u door uw chauffeursgids bent opgehaald bij Port Klang, maakt u een mooie rit van 1 uur met een comfortabel voertuig naar Kuala Lumpur
Bezoekerscentrum dat gasten meeneemt door de geschiedenis van de tinproductie van Royal Selangor. Dwaal door museumexposities en live demo over het bewerken van tin. Bekijk hoe het bewerken van tin in realtime wordt uitgevoerd, van het gieten, polijsten tot het monteren. Maak een foto met 's werelds grootste tinnen bierkroes. Een iconisch oriëntatiepunt in het bezoekerscentrum. Een unieke weergave van de Petrons Twin Towers, gemaakt van meer dan 7000 kroezen.

Over Batucaves: Batu Caves is een kalkstenen heuvel met een reeks grotten en grottempels in Gombak, Selangor. Er wordt gezegd dat de kalksteen die de Batu-grotten vormt ongeveer 400 miljoen jaar oud is. Sommige ingangen van de grot werden gebruikt als schuilplaats door de inheemse Temuan-bevolking (een stam van de Orang Asli). De grot is een van de meest populaire hindoeïstische heiligdommen buiten India en is opgedragen aan Lord Murugan. Het is het middelpunt van het hindoeïstische festival Thaipusam in Maleisië. Batu Caves worden kortweg ook wel de 10e grotten of heuvel genoemd voor Lord Murugan, aangezien er zes belangrijke heilige heiligdommen zijn in India en nog vier in Maleisië. De drie andere in Maleisië zijn de Kallumalai-tempel in Ipoh, de Tanneermalai-tempel in Penang en de Sannasimalai-tempel in Malakka. Opmerking: - Houd je ogen open om je bewust te zijn van de apen. Geef ze geen eten! - Houd camera's dichtbij en gebruik een nekriem als u die heeft. - Draag geen plastic zakken mee, apen zullen hier agressief op reageren.
Ga dan verder naar Kanching Falls voor een kijkje bij de indrukwekkende waterval met zeven niveaus. Je bepaalt zelf hoe lang je in de schaduw wilt vertoeven, over de rotsblokken wilt klauteren of een verfrissende duik wilt nemen. Tijdens de lunch brengen wij u voor een vaste lokale lunch of verpakt voedsel De tour eindigt ongeveer om 15.00 uur, waarna je terugkeert naar de Port Klang Cruise Terminal.

We had a wonderful guide Rajan D. who was very knowledgeable in the historical and current Malaysia, We saw Batu caves, waterfalls and toured the tin factory - Royal Selangor and beautiful hand painted silk factory. We also had a great local lunch and stopped at the Twin Towers, a beautiful Chinese temple and the Kings mosque. We were lucky to have Rajan on this private tour and which we highly recommend.
What a fantastic day we had with Indran! Docking at Port Kelang Indran picked us up directly from the terminal and in a very busy day we stopped off at the Petronas Towers, visited the Selangor Pewter museum, Batu Caves, waterfalls and even manged to squeeze in an amazing lunch. All the stops were well worth it! A great day out, enjoyed by all and highly recommended. Thank you Indran - Richard, Sacha, Brian and Sue!
Bat caves is interesting, culturally and socially. It can get crowded as you drive in, but amazingly it accommodates all the Taurus and worshipers. Note that you do not have to buy a scarf at the bottom… You can see in the temple without going in. There are some shops at the top for souvenirs. The waterfalls are amazing. There are six levels called ARA’s one through six. Each one is a a waterfall and a pool so it accommodates all level levels of climbers.
Excellent service, loved the trip to the Batu caves and the waterfalls, unfortunately the hot springs wasn’t available, but our driver whose name I have lost, was brilliant and took us to the Grand Palace. He would have taken us elsewhere, but we had a lovely day and was ready to return to our ship.
Joe Tan was a phenomenal tour guide for our day-long private tour in Penang. He was extremely knowledgeable about the country’s history, religious temples, and all the different sights. He accompanied us in all locations, taking us efficiently through everything there was to see, while showing us all the best photo spots. Joe even took over 100 photos of our group and sent them to us digitally on WhatsApp. We never felt rushed and appreciated Joe’s enthusiasm in sharing detailed information on what made a particular sight special. From the top of Penang Hill to Kek Lok Si temple, to the Batik factory to street art in George Town, we got to experience it all with Joe’s expert guidance. Highly recommend this very personalized tour!
Very informative tour, waterfalls were amazing, Batu caves a must see, saw outside City center as well. Mr Rajah was very good and very chatty, made you feel welcome.
Our driver Kumar was absolutely lovely. He answered all of our questions and was a great driver. When he knew the hot springs were closed, he made sure we got to see things not originally included on our itinerary. The reason for the one docked star was for the lack of communication/accountability on the company’s part. The hot springs were closed and we were sold and paid for a tour that included the springs. Additionally, I think it’s important to tell your customers that women must have their knees and shoulders covered if they want to enter the Batu Caves, rather than the driver telling us last minute and having to purchase other close items there.
Our driver/guide, Fauzi, patiently waited for us to get off our ship and take a 30min Coach ride to the Cruise Terminal. The port is many miles from KL. We visited the King’s Palace, Batu Caves and Batik workshop store before having lunch at a clean local restaurant. Then to some waterfalls and photos at the Twin Towers. Not rushed at any point we were back about 7 hours. We certainly felt we saw and learned a lot about KL.
Harry is a great guide. We learned so much and saw so much in just a few hours. He is knowledgeable and very friendly.
