Met zijn rijke geschiedenis en spectaculaire landschappen is het gemakkelijk te zien waarom! Met onze populaire tour beleef je het allemaal. Spring aan boord met een van onze vriendelijke, lokale chauffeurs die je graag een fantastische dag willen bezorgen! Onderweg stoppen we bij Eaglehawk Neck's Pirates Bay uitkijkpunt en het Dog Line Monument, de Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry en de Tasmanian Lavender Farm. De volgende is de historische site van Port Arthur (toegang op eigen kosten), waar u kunt genieten van het verkennen van de site en een havencruise (inbegrepen bij de toegang). Blijf de volle 4 uur of spring na 3 uur terug in de bus om Remarkable Cave en Maingon Bay te bezoeken.

Deze tour pikt ALLEEN op op 8 locaties in en rond de stad. Zorg ervoor dat u een locatie uit de lijst heeft geselecteerd. Laat ons weten welk ophaalpunt je hebt geselecteerd als je er nog geen hebt geselecteerd tijdens het boekingsproces. Als u bagage of een kinderwagen bij u heeft, is het van essentieel belang dat u ons dit direct bij het boeken meldt. Zorg ervoor dat u voldoende tijd heeft om naar de door u geselecteerde ophaallocatie te gaan. Dit is een shuttle service wat betekent dat als u niet op tijd op uw locatie bent, de bus niet kan wachten. Bel alsjeblieft niet als de bus een paar minuten te laat is. Denk eraan dat het verkeer en andere pick-ups vertragingen kunnen veroorzaken. De bus zal nooit eerder vertrekken dan de aangegeven tijd.

Begrijp alsjeblieft dat de bus niet kan wachten en dat je andere afspraken moet maken als je de retourbus mist. Sta ruim op tijd om naar uw ophaallocaties te gaan.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable and well organised day, with short stops at interesting sites along the way. Andrew was knowledgeable and friendly and really invested in making sure we got the best experience. Will definitely travel with Tassie Tours again!
What an incredible tour! Our guide, Nathan, was very knowledgeable on all things Tassie and had a great sense of humour. The bus was very comfortable and pick up and drop off was easy to navigate. We stopped for a quick break and Nathan found some seals in the canal, beautiful to see in the wild. Would highly recommend this tour!

He was incredibly punctual for all the pick-ups and drop-offs, which made the logistics completely stress-free. What really set this tour apart was his extensive knowledge; he provided so much deep insight into Port Arthur and all the different attractions around Hobart. On top of that, Pascal has a fantastic sense of humor that kept the entire journey lively, engaging, and never boring. It was a thoroughly satisfying and enriching experience. I had a brilliant experience with Tassie Tours on their Port Arthur day tour. Our driver-guide, Pascale, was outstanding – informative, friendly and attentive to the needs of everyone in the group. The tour started promptly on time and ran seamlessly throughout the day, with excellent organisation and timing at every stop. The commentary provided along the journey was exceptional and really helped bring Tasmania's history, culture and landscapes to life. I particularly enjoyed the stop at the Lavender Farm, which was a wonderful addition to the day and a great opportunity to experience another side of Tasmania. Port Arthur itself was confronting, beautiful and deeply moving. It is a place that everyone visiting Tasmania should experience, and having the time to explore and reflect made it even more memorable. Although this is a full-day tour, it never felt tiring as the day is thoughtfully broken up with several interesting stops and locations along the way. The pace was comfortable and well suited to all ages and interests. I would highly recommend Tassie Tours to anyone visiting Tasmania – whether you're travelling as a family, a couple or a solo traveller like me. It was a fantastic day from start to finish and one of the highlights of my trip.

Great day at Port Arthur. Recommend paying an extra $10 on arrival to get an historical perspective before exploring it, as tour operator drops you off and picks up. It takes a long time to get around and we were a little rushed, also fitting in the cruise before a visit to the remarkable cave afterwards. Would have liked a bit more commentary on the cave, chocolate factory and lavender farm. Overall an enjoyable day.

Our trip to Port Authur yesterday was excellent. Our tour operator was Sky and she was great, very knowledgeable and professional. She also created a quiet bus ride both there and back by only speaking when she had something very worthwhile and knowledgeable to say. The bus was clean and not crowded. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Absolutely fabulous day. Informative Guide who was very interactive with our small group. Port Arthur was amazing … beautifully kept heritage site. Inclement weather added to the moody vibe of the day. We loved it .

The tour itself was enjoyable, with some great stops before and after visiting Port Arthur. However, the bus was quite old and run down, which was disappointing for the price paid. I was also expecting commentary throughout the journey, along with a more modern and comfortable coach experience.

It’s our peak season, so things can get quite challenging with high demand, staff availability, and the occasional unforeseen mechanical issue which are unfortunately out of our control. We work hard to avoid cancellations and keep tours running smoothly, including pulling out our backup bus when needed. However, I understand this didn’t make up for the inconvenience you experienced on the day. I hope the rest of your time in Tasmania was more enjoyable.
