De stad heeft zoveel gezichten. Opgericht in 129. B.C. als Romeinse nederzetting heeft Poreč (lat. Parentium) een lange weg afgelegd. Een pittoresk stadje, wiens identiteit door duizenden jaren heen is gevormd. Na de val van Rome kwam Poreč onder de heerschappij van talrijke koninkrijken en rijken. Venetiaanse, Oostenrijkse, Italiaanse, Joegoslavische en vele andere administraties bepaalden de stedelijke identiteit van de stad. Met name de Eufrasiusbasiliek uit de 6e eeuw is daar een perfect voorbeeld van, aangezien deze in 1997 tot UNESCO-werelderfgoed werd verklaard. U moet Poreč bezoeken in Istrië, Kroatië. Maar als je het vanuit een zeekajak doet, wordt het een onvergetelijke ervaring.Tijdens onze Sunset Sea Kayaking Tour om je heen peddel je door de geschiedenis van Poreč. Ontdek de voordelen van de stad. Geniet van de zonsondergang op zee kajakken met je gids. En als je geluk hebt, zie je zelfs de dolfijnen voor de kust zwemmen. I used to think that kayaking was difficult and only suitable for people who can do it. Yesterday, during my vacation in Poreč, I went kayaking for the fourth time 😊 Many thanks to Ilija and Libro Adventures for the great organization. For me, this is the perfect combination of beautiful nature, light exercise, a magnificent sunset, and many lovely impressions. I particularly like that this tour is suitable for both children and adults. You do not have to be an athlete to enjoy it. And the best part is: Each tour is different from the previous one. In August, I will return to Poreč, and a new kayaking tour is, of course, already booked 🛶
A fun and relaxing way to enjoy the Istrian coast. With a great guide. Caters for all levels and as experienced paddlers we really enjoyed ourselves.
An absolutely brilliant trip! Vedran was a wonderful guide, really knowledgable and really friendly. We had a brilliant time. The sunset was amazing and our route was perfectly planned to see it at its best. There was also a lovely little swim spot stop. Would recommend !
It was a mega beautiful experience! Would book with Ilija the tour guide again and again a kayak tour! He is very competent, funny and eager to make it a great adventure for everyone. We were a fun troupe of 6 people. You should bring change of clothes because you get a little wet. You can also change there. It is also suitable for beginners. It was a super successful evening! I highly recommend this kayaking tour. Ilija was a perfect guide...calm, friendly and attentive, as well as relaxed enough to let us enjoy the trip at our own speed. The kayaks were really stable and easy to manage. Don't think about it - just do this trip as it's the perfect way to escape the tourist crowd and see the coast line at its natural best.
Very nice tour, sympathetic guide who had plenty of tips for holidays in Croatia. At a half-hour stop we could swim and there was a cool drink for all ages and something to nibble on. The sunset was very nice and the length of the tour just right. Tip: Sun hat, sunscreen and water are absolutely necessary (water is also available from the guide if necessary)

Communication was very good from the start. After making the booking we received a welcome message from Vedran introducing himself and reminding us of essentials to bring and link for directions. Everything we needed was provided for this experience including somewhere safe to keep our stuff and a place to change into dry clothes afterwards. Vedran was very friendly and reassuring as we were both pretty new to kayaking. What followed was a real highlight of our holiday with a long but leisurely, relaxing and safe trip around the harbour and nearby island set against sundown. Vedran was a very engaging and knowledgeable host. A perfect way to end the day and one we thoroughly recommend to all.
Very nice trip with a small group of four people and our very nice guide Ilija. We went first to the port of Porec, then to the standing beach and later we made a bigger round to the surrounding islands. The sunset was very nice to watch from the water, although unfortunately it was a bit cloudy. In between, Ilija repeatedly told us something about the city of Porec and also answered all our questions. The tour was just the right length with just under 2-2.5 hours and we would definitely recommend the tour!
What a superb activity! We were greeted by Ilija, who is one of the business owners and a Porec local, and he clearly take great pride in looking after his customers. The tour was done at perfect pace so that no one was left behind and there were plenty of breaks to admire the views. A stop off on a lovely island beach complete with snacks and drinks, before heading out into the Adriatic Sea for the most beautiful sunset, before arriving back into Porec for 9pm for a drink at the local bar with Ilija. A perfect evening that was the highlight of our week in Istria.
