Geen bezoek aan Zuid-Italië zou compleet zijn zonder een bezoek aan de unieke ruïnes van Pompeii, en deze tour is perfect als je weinig tijd hebt. Verken de oude stad bedekt met vulkanisch stof van de Vesuvius in 79 na Christus en bekijk de opgegraven overblijfselen van het Forum, de thermale baden, Lupanare, het Griekse theater en gipsafgietsels van de lichamen van Pompeii-mensen.

Pick-up en drop off deur tot deur service. Transfer van Sorrento naar Pompei en van Pompei naar Sorrento met een nieuwe en comfortabele minibus, tickets in Pompei (euro 16,00 per persoon inbegrepen), professionele Gids in het Engels, Frans, Spaans of Italiaans in de ruïnes, die u in een 2 uur durende wandeltocht de meest fascinerende plaatsen laat zien zoals het Forum, de thermale baden, Lupanare verbrand door vulkanische as en lapilli tijdens de uitbarsting in 79 na Christus. U heeft de mogelijkheid om het dagelijks leven van de keizertijd te ontdekken en u de paniek van de mensen voor te stellen voordat de stad zo rampzalig werd begraven. Vertrek uit Pompei rond 13u30 en terug rond 14u00 - 14u30 (afhankelijk van de verkeersomstandigheden kunt u terugkeren om 15u00); breng af waar we u 's morgens hebben opgehaald. Het is een niet te missen reis voor elke bezoeker die in deze regio van Italië komt.

The tour was very organized and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging! It was also very helpful to be picked up and dropped off at the hotel. The trip is a true 4-5 hours (with the actual tour lasting around 2 hours, which is the perfect length during the summer heatwave).
Guide had poor command of English and group was to big 35

The tour was very well organized. The company even came ot pick us up from the port directly, along other tourists from their hotel, on our way to Pompei. On-site, we were given headphones to make sure we could hear the guide throughout the tour without problem, which came in very handy given the size of the site. The guide was very professionnal and knowledgeable. The tour was extremely pleasant, highly recommend.
The tour is highly recommended, the guide was super funny who made our visit to Pompeii super pleasant. We had a super nice day.
This tour was informative and nice, our English speaking guide took us around all the streets of Pompeii, while giving us stories of the people, historical facts, and a few jokes here and there. Make sure you were comfortable shoes, bring an umbrella for the sun (trust me you will need it) and room for lots of history and pics.
This tour was wonderful! Our guide Elisa was very knowledgeable and spoke very clearly. The hotel pickup was convenient and smooth as well. Overall highly recommend this experience. It was a great way to see the highlights of Pompeii.

I was blown away by this tour. The guide was amazing. The tour group was probably around 20-30 people and we had Whisper ear devices to hear the guide throughout. Manage your own expectations; you can’t see all of the site in 2 hours, so the tour guide focused on amphitheater, public bath/spa, a domicile, village square, a bakery, and we saw 4 plaster casts of victims. If you are considering visiting Pompeii I highly recommend this tour. It has been a highlight of my trip to Italy. Also of note: the tour provided transport from the port of Sorrento and picked us up in front of Ruccio restaurant which is literally steps away from the cruise tender point. Incredible value; the cruise excursion to Pompeii was 3x the price of this tour.
Efficient and so easy with pick up in an air conditioned vehicle. If you want a shorter tour that gives you the main highlight - this is perfect
