Pompeii & Mount Vesuvius Volledige dagtour vanuit Sorrento

Amazing experience, our guides and driver were lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. It was a very hot day so the guided tour around Pompei was just the right amount of time and our guide was very entertaining. We stopped for a lovely lunch as suggested by our guide on the transport and the trek up Mount Vesuvius was awesome (top tips, take an umbrella for shade and pack some trainers) you can leave your stuff that you don’t want to carry on the trek on your transport. We then stopped to taste some limoncello in a small shop on the way back to our hotels, the farmer that grows the lemons told us a little about his story, the tasting was very enjoyable and he was a very entertaining guy. We were picked up and dropped off right outside our hotel and Monica from explore Sorrento was brilliant to book the experience thorough, she was very helpful and checked in with us on WhatsApp so if there were any issues we knew we could get in touch with her. Amazing day!

The tour was great, everyone was totally friendly, the guides, as well as the other people in the group. Even though the tour was without food, there was the possibility to eat something inexpensively on the tour. A restaurant was suggested and it was voted on who would like to eat something there. One point deduction is only because it was so super crowded at the locations. But that is criticism at a high level, after all, as a tourist I am no better myself :D the group size we were traveling with was 15 people. And the most important note for overthinkers, there were always enough free toilets in between :p

Right from pickup point in Sorrento we were greeted by a very friendly guide Paula and our very skilful bus driver. Visit to artisan craftsman handmade cameos. Stunning workmanship. On to Pompeii where our guide was fantastic; enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Lunch at local organic winery was first class, everything very tasty. Wines were very nice. Vesuvius not for the faint hearted but stunning views should you choose to go to the top. On the way home a stop at "Crazy Peter's" was a highlight. So passionate and quite the showman. Rounded off a perfect day, no driving, no queues, no rushing, no worries. Great value for money.

Great guides and overall experience. Transportation between great sites and made it very easy to enjoy!

What a fabulous day. Firstly the guide Paula and driver Guytarno were top notch and set the gold standard from start of our day trip. Paulo gave such insightful commentary throughout and the seamless transition to our guide at Pompei worked a treat. We spent just the right amount of time at Pompei and climbing the Vesuvius. Their lunch recommendation half way up Vesuvius was excellent and provided a perfect pit stop before our climb. We could not recommend this trip more highly. Top day!

Paula was the guide, Mario the driver. At pompey, we had a very knowledgeable guide so learn so must. Was unsure given the cost; but would say its a must do. Paula gave lots of interesting pointers as we traveled, the lunch in olive garden amazing, the stop off at Paul's limonchello shop amazing.

This was a great full day trip to experience everything from Pompeii and Vesuvius to a little local shop on the bottom of the volcano.

Fabulous day trip - well worth the money paid. Conveniently picked up and dropped off at our hotel, unlike many other tour operators who provide a meeting spot in town early in the morning. Our guide for Pompeii was knowledgeable and helped to bring the site to life for the two hour tour. After the tour, a tasty lunch was provided amongst olive groves, accompanied by wines to compliment each course. After lunch, we were taken to climb Mt Vesuvius. Sufficient time was given for us to take our time climbing to the summit and the views were spectacular. Our guides on the trip, Alice and Paula provided lots of additional information about the local region during the bus journey and added some extra surprises of Limoncello and Chocolate tasting to finish the day. A fabulous day all round.
