Stap terug in de tijd en sta op een titaan tijdens dit naadloze avontuur van een hele dag vanuit Sorrento of Napels. Verken de UNESCO-geklasseerde ruïnes van Pompeii met een Expert archeologische Gids die de bevroren stad van 79 AD tot leven brengt. Na een pauze voor een traditionele lokale lunch beklimt u de hellingen van de Vesuvius. Loop naar de uiterste rand van de krater voor een ongeëvenaard uitzicht op de baai van Napels vanaf de enige actieve vulkaan op het vasteland van Europa.

Als u de vertrekoptie vanuit Sorrento hebt geselecteerd, begint uw reis bij de hoofdingang van het Parcheggio Comunale Achille Lauro in Sorrento.
Als u de vertrekoptie vanuit Napels selecteert, ontmoet u uw Gids bij de ingang van het Star Hotel Terminus op Piazza Garibaldi.
Versla de menigte met Priority Access (Skip-the-Line) tickets. U wandelt langs originele Romeinse basalt geplaveide straten en ontdekt een stad die eeuwenlang "bevroren" is geweest.
Het religieuze en politieke hart van de stad, met het meest iconische fotomoment met de Vesuvius op de achtergrond.
Dit is de grootste en meest majestueuze residentie in Pompeii, die een heel stadsblok beslaat. Het is vernoemd naar het bronzen beeld van een dansende Faun dat in het atrium is gevonden
Bezoek het oude bordeel, beroemd om zijn bewaard gebleven erotische muurschilderingen en unieke geschiedenis.
Uw chauffeur brengt u naar de 1000 meter. Vanaf daar kunt u genieten van een schilderachtige wandeling van 20 - 30 minuten naar de Gran Cono te bereiken. De Grote Krater : Kijk in de diepten van de vulkaan en spot actieve stoombronnen (fumarolen). Bird’s Eye View : Maak adembenemende panoramafoto’s van Capri, Ischia en het hele Sorrentine Peninsula. Vulkanoloog Insights : Ontmoet een gespecialiseerde park Gids op de top om te leren over de geologie en de explosieve geschiedenis van de berg.

We had a fabulous tour to Pompeii and Mt Vesuvio with Nicolo and our driver Attillio. Nicolo entertained us with historical information about the area while Attillio expertly navigated the roads (no small feat!) Teresa led our tour of Pompeii-changing her planned route at the last minute to avoid all of the other groups—super helpful! We appreciated that we all had headsets and could clearly hear her wonderful descriptions of all things Pompeii. Delicious pizza lunch (a whole pizza!) followed by a hike up Mt Vesuvio. This was a long day but so rewarding!

It was wonderful to learn about Pompeii in ways I hadn't known before😁 As you guys know, without any prior information, Pompeii just looks like a pile of stones😂😂😂 Traveling while listening to the behind-the-scenes stories of each ruin made the experience feel completely different. The knowledgeable guide's kind explanations made the trip even more enriching. You absolutely must sign up for this guided tour in Pompeii. It is not an option, it is a must!!!!!💪💫🥰

We had an incredible time exploring the ruins of Pompeii and hiking to the crater of Vesuvius. Everything was well-organized, and the views from the top were breathtaking. A must-do if you are in the area! Highly recommended!

My friends and I were in Naples last week and decided to take a day trip to Pompeii. It was absolutely incredible! The ruins are breathtakingly beautiful, but what truly made the experience special was our guide. He was fantastic and shared so much knowledge about the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, along with many fascinating facts about the city’s daily life and ancient culture. It really felt like stepping back 2,000 years in time. I highly recommend everyone to book a guided tour to fully appreciate the history of this site. It is a must-see for anyone visiting the area!
