Tour met kleine groep door Pompeii en de Vesuvius vanuit Sorrento

So glad we chose this small group tour. The organisation through Enjoy Pompeii was seamless. We were collected from our Hotel in a very comfortable new air conditioned vehicle which took 8 of us from Sorrento to Pompeii. Greeted by a coordinator there we were allocated to our guide Frankie who was absolutely superb. He imparted knowledge in a clear captivating and humorous way and took care to ensure that everyone got the most out of the experience. Can’t praise him enough! Also having an early start meant that it wasn’t so busy. After a short comfort break with chance for lunch and drinks at the cafe we were similarly transported to Vesuvius. Although we didn’t make it to the top due to insufficient time being available (75 minutes) before the transport returned to collect us we enjoyed the drive through the countryside and the amazing views. The cafe there was quite basic with little seating availability. Would advise walking poles as the path is very gravelly. Altogether an excellent trip. Excellent drivers and on time. Would definitely recommend.

I excellent experience. Impossible to see all in a day but our guide Angelo did an excellent job getting us to key sites with very little crowds. His knowledge and ability to share was top notch. Highly recommend

Great day out from Sorrento! We arrived at Pompeii at mid morning, we were told that due to the weather forecast it would be recommended that we go to Vesuvius first so that we get better views and don’t get rained on. Then we were driven over to Vesuvius, the views were incredible! Very grateful they moved the climb to the morning! We were given about an 1 hour 15 minutes to walk to the top and back down, potentially needed 15 more minutes as we had to stop for breaks on the way up, but we also did have a bit of time at the bottom as we didn’t want to be late for the driver. We were then driven back to Pompeii and had some time to have lunch (we brought our own) we then met our tour guide Sasa, he recognised us from the morning which was nice! The tour of Pompeii was very good! Very informative, he also gave us some time to take pictures and take in the sights. We learnt a lot and had a lot of fun, he got everyone involved, didn’t just talk at us! Had us guessing what the buildings and rooms were. Would highly recommend doing this if you are in Naples/Sorrento! Our tour guide definitely made the experience what it was, and would recommend doing a tour rather than taking yourself round as you learn so much!

The experience itself was great. They picked us up where we were staying, our tour guide, Frankie, was really good. Then we went to Vesuvius. The views were good. Glad we did this tour. The only concern was communication. They spoke English but they did not explain to you what happens at each stage of the tour. Several in our group were confused and figured it out. But communication about each step, where to go, and what was happening, could have been a lot better.

Guides probably makes all the difference but Sasha was our guide and he was excellent. So much to learn about Pompeii. The walk up the volcano was cold and windy on our day so check the weather and prepare for the cold, but worth the trek.

Angelo was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We had the best time learning about Pompeii!

The guide provided great information and shared what the day to day living looked like in Pompeii We toured a large wealthy home framework of stone As well as smaller homes and businesses and the town forum.

Knowledgeable, entertaining guide. Sasa had good English and was timely and organized. 15 people. Enjoyed it. Vesuvius was fun but beware, it is a steady steep climb (l60 degree incline the entire way. Spectacular views of Naples and the bay. the transportation transfers felt chaotic and the drivers were confused a bit even though it worked out fine. Antonio was great as the master coordinator of drivers

Salvatore was a wonderful guide. He is knowledgeable shares so many important facts and is funny and kind. Entire tour is such a great day. Amazing to walk to the top of mt Vesuvius

Very informative tour of Pompeii! Angelo was so knowledgeable and really interacted with our group. Be prepared to walk/climb when visiting Vesuvius. A moderate level of fitness and comfortable shoes are a must!
