Great experience! We didn’t start with a guide and quickly decided to to make sure we got the most out of the day. GREAT energy and experience!
Awesome experience! We had a student tour guide Babba, she was very knowledgeable and passionate about her culture. Highly recommend!
I don't agree with the refund policy. We didn't make the lunch buffet due to traffic issues. Young male supervisor was not willing to help us. Don't respect customer service like that.
It was a really nice experience! Loved the food. Ice cream was amazing. Loved the smiling faces and alohas. Music provided nice atmosphere. 5 stars.
Absolutely perfect day! We did the Guided Tour which was an all afternoon experience through all of the islands. It included multiple small, beautiful shows from each culture. All very different. The Tongan show was our favorite (very fun & funny), and a great way to end the day. Our little “family” in our tour had 6 plus our family of 3. Our tour guide was THE BEST: Louis from the Philippines!! Super knowledgeable, organized, very personable, remembered each guest’s name, extremely accommodating to everyone. He paced it perfectly, and did it with a smile and sense of humor. We would have taken him home if we could! I rented a wheelchair for the day ($35) because it’s a lot of walking for me. Louis kept things moving for everyone’s comfort. A surprise rain shower came while we were seated for the outstanding canoe parade, and they immediately passed out rain ponchos for everyone. It passed quickly and we all dried out just fine, but the show went on without even a blip. We did the evening buffet, which was delicious, with so many choices! Every staff person throughout the day was welcoming, friendly, helpful, and polite. Our almost 11 year old granddaughter was engaged throughout the day and loved it all. We did not stay for the final show, which has rave reviews. It was an hour and 20 minutes back to our resort in Ko’Olina, so we had not Ten stars for the entire experience, and twenty stars for our fabulous guide, Louis!! It was truly an unforgettable experience. We learned so much, and had a great time while doing it. It’s a full day, so allow yourself time to enjoy it. There is a marketplace with small stores, food trucks/stands that opens prior to the Islands area, and is open after the main area closes. If you want lunch there first, and there’s also a lunch buffet, but save room for dinner. This summer (2026) they have a special on Wednesdays for 15% off tickets. Lots of free parking. Adjacent to the BYU- Hawaii campus. About 85% of employees are students who receive tuition, housing, etc. in exchange for work - an excellent way to get through school. They all seem excited and grateful to be there. What a pleasure!
Very fun and I learned a lot of things I did not know before. Definitely a must go when your on the island.
Amazing fun with the family!!!
i have a great time with tofee, great experience and will coming back
Everyone was so kind and helpful. The presentations were interesting, interactive, and hands on.
I took my adult children, ages 26, 23, 22, and 18, along with my husband, to the Polynesian Cultural Center for our last big outing after a week on Oahu. At first, they weren’t sure about spending from noon until 9 p.m. there. They wondered what could keep them entertained for that long. But they ended up really enjoying it and thanked me for the experience. We started with the river cruise, a short ride through the park where our guide gave us a quick overview of each village. After cooling off with shave ice from a concession stand, we checked out the shows that caught our interest. Both the paper map and the app made it easy to get around. Every show in each village was impressive. The performers are students from BYU Hawaii, which is nearby. The day went by quickly, and soon it was time for the buffet. The meal was great and everything was well organized. We did wait in line for a bit, but staff guided us to our seats outside under a covered area. My family liked this spot because it felt more open and less crowded or noisy. There was plenty of food with lots of options, so everyone found something they liked and even went back for seconds. The servers were attentive, clearing plates quickly, and it was easy to refill drinks at the outdoor drink station. The buffet opens as early as 4:30, but we decided to catch the last shows at a few villages and sat down to eat at 5:30. That timing worked out perfectly for eating, chatting, enjoying live music, and then taking a walk before the evening show at 7:30. The show was incredible. Phones and filming aren’t allowed, which I didn’t mind because a video wouldn’t capture how amazing it was. The fire dancing at the end was especially impressive. We all agreed this was the perfect way to end our vacation.
