Beschrijving
De meest interessante locaties in Podgorica zou je met ons bezoeken. In het begin gaan we naar de oude nederzetting van de Romeinse stad Doclea, die nu in puin ligt. Daar zou je genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht op Podgorica vanaf de Trijebac-heuvel. Later gaan we naar de tempel van de opstanding van Christus, die een van de grootste in de regio is en zelfs als het nieuw is, al een belangrijke historische rol speelt. Daarna gaan we verder naar het klooster Dajbabe, gebouwd in een kleine grot, een verbazingwekkend natuurwonder. Onze koffiepauze zou zijn naar de lokale Niagara-watervallen, een oude dam in de Cijevna-kloof, er is nu een leuk restaurant. Daarna zouden we wijnmakerij Plantaze bezoeken, een van de grootste wijngaarden van Europa, en wijnproeven in de Sipcanik-tunnel, een verlaten militaire luchtmachtbasis onder de heuvel. De laatste bestemming is de oude stad, waar de ruïnes van de stad Nemanjica, de klokkentoren en de oude brug Skaline zijn, evenals het monument van koning Nikola Petrovic. Veel historische informatie en mooie uitzichten zullen deze reis onvergetelijk maken.

Ruïnes van de oude stad Doclea is de belangrijkste locatie in Podgorica. Hoe de stad net in puin ligt, je zou niet de kans hebben er veel van te zien, maar het is de moeite waard om te bezoeken.
De grootste orthodoxe kerk in Montenegro is moderne architectuur en een van de mooiste kerken binnen, iets wat je moet bezoeken.
Hier krijgt u de kans om een van de meest interessante natuurwonderen te bezoeken, de kerkbinnengrot in de vorm van een kruis.
Een van de grootste wijnranken in Europa en de oude militaire luchtmachtbasis in de heuvels zal een ongelooflijk verhaal zijn voor echte wijnliefhebbers. U krijgt de kans om enkele van de meest populaire Montenegrijnse wijnstokken te proeven.
Deze watervallen zijn echt geweldig als er veel water is. Hier is een heel leuk lokaal restaurant waar je een pauze kunt houden voor koffie of een drankje.
De uitkijktoren in het oude Podgorica is de plaats waar we onze reis beëindigen en een pauze nemen in het plaatselijke restaurant voor een goede maaltijd en drankje.

We were a large group of 10. The private car trip was arranged well in two cars and our guides Milijia and Vlado were both very knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to answer all our questions and also kept the children occupied and interested. We learned a lot about Montenegro and Podgorica from them. It was a whole day trip and the final winery stop was a really fantastic experience. Thank you very much.
What a fantastic tour we had with Milija! We visited church, monastery, winery, roman ruins, waterfool, etc. Milija is a very knowledgeable, caring, and fascinating guide. We really enjoyed our day in his company. We recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in the history of the country.
