Playa Grande Surflessen op een afgelegen strand

This was a fantastic experience for our family. The instructors were patient, kind and wanted all of us to succeed and we did. We caught waves, enjoyed the sun, surf and company of the entire Mojo team. They took photos and even shared delicious banana bread. Our kids are 12 & 14 and loved their lesson and want to go back tomorrow and it was so great we may just do that. Instructors were out in the water with the kids and even showed off a few of their surfing tricks.

Had a wonderful time as a family of five. Even those that were nervous had a great time and felt safe. Price was more than fair as we had a longer experience than some other other companies. We traveled from Tamarindo and are glad we were able to experience a quieter setting. There were on a few families and wonderful instructors. The owners went above and beyond for us. They supplied water, pineapple and homemade banana bread (which was safe for our food allergy). We love meeting people and trying new things - this was a great time!

Our family had a wonderful time surfing at Grande Beach. Our instructor was great with our girls and everyone got up multiple times! Would highly recommend booking with Mojo Surfing Adventures!

I wanted to surf on my 50th birthday and chose Mojo Surf based on the positive reviews. My husband and I enjoyed our experience so much that we booked a second session a few days later in our trip. Johel and Marie were so much fun and made us feel like family. Best surf experience ever!

We first did surf lessons with Mojo back in Nov 2023 and loved it so much, we decided to do it again with them this past week. Tim and his team are awesome! The instructors are very patient and encouraging. The beach at Playa Grande is beautiful and the waves perfect for both beginners and more experienced surfers. They provided us with rash guards, fresh pineapple, homemade banana bread and water. This time we were staying about 90 min away up on the Papagayo Peninsula - Tim made arrangements for a driver to pick us up for the journey to Playa Grande. The driver, Jonathon was great - he waited for us to do our lesson, then took us to Tamarindo for a few hours where we could grab lunch and do some shopping before driving us back to our hotel. Highly Recommend! Amazing way to spend the day in Costa Rica!

Great experience! We had never surfed before and this was an easy way to learn and a great team. Coki and Tim were great instructors and well organized. I recommend highly!

Amazing experience. Group of 40 - teenage soccer players/younger siblings and parents. Very week organized , everything taken care off. An amazing group of instructors, beautiful quiet beach and great banana bread. Everyone had a blast !

Highly, highly recommend Mojo Surf Adventures! Easy to book, so friendly and accommodating, and even got this old lady up on a board! Tim greeted us on the beach and immediately made us all feel at ease. Honestly, it was a terrific experience start to finish.
