Oproep aan alle koffiedrinkers en natuurliefhebbers, kom meer te weten over de productie en verwerking van bonen en specerijen. Tám Trình Coffee Experiences ligt op een kilometer afstand van Elephant Falls. Onze plantagetour geeft inzicht in de koffieteelt en volgt het proces van de koffieboon van plantage tot kopje. De tour begint met een korte wandeling door de plantage. Langs dit pad leren bezoekers over de groei van koffieplanten, van zaailingen in kwekerijen tot het moment dat ze worden geplant en geplukt in de plantages. De tour eindigt met een bezoek aan het koffielaboratorium, de brandruimte en leert over verschillende melanges en het proeven van de smaken van koffie die Tám Trình te bieden heeft. De rondleiding wordt geleid door een lokale boer die al meer dan 30 jaar ervaring heeft met de teelt.

The Tam Trinh Coffee Experience is a magical place surrounded by misty mountains, the Elephant Waterfall and Linh An pagoda…drink the locally brewed coffee and enjoy. Only about 30 minutes drive from the airport and Dalat, Lam Ha is a few degrees warmer than Dalat and a garden of Eden for avocados, pepper, all types of fruit and flowers, without forgetting the coffee which you can learn more about during you visit to Tam Trịnh! The farm is very nicely located and you get an insight into coffee growing in Vietnam and can ask many questions. A view of the Elephant waterfall, which is currently closed, is also available. After the tour we were able to try out how to make coffee with the small filter. Our tour guide Nina was super nice and explained and told us a lot. It was a lot of fun to look at the farm with her and she showed us the best photo spots.

Tip for people from Da Lat: We didn’t want to do a full-day tour, so we decided to take a Grab from Da Lat to the plantation and asked the driver to wait for a couple of hours. This worked perfectly. The tour itself was fantastic! Our guide spoke excellent English and made the whole experience engaging and interactive. Rather than just listing facts, the guide checked in to make sure we understood and were enjoying the process. It was a great way to learn about how coffee is made. Highly recommended if you’re interested in learning more about coffee plantation and production!
