- Let op: de kathedraal is gesloten op zondagmorgen (deze gaat om 14.00 uur open)
- Toegang is alleen gratis voor gehandicapte bezoekers met hun helper, op vertoon van geschikte certificering aan de kassier.
- Om veiligheidsredenen mogen kinderen die aan het einde van dit jaar niet 8 zijn geworden, en baby's niet deelnemen.
- Onder de 18 jaar moet worden vergezeld door een volwassene. ID kan worden gevraagd om de leeftijd te bevestigen.
- Handtassen / tassen / bagage moeten vóór het bezoek aan de vestiaire worden achtergelaten en aan het einde van het bezoek worden opgehaald.
- Het bezoek duurt ongeveer 35 minuten. De klim is te voet en er zijn 251 treden.
- Het bezoek wordt niet aanbevolen voor mensen met cardiovasculaire en musculaire aandoeningen.
- De vloer is ongelijk en glad
- De gids wacht niet langer dan 5 minuten op het ontmoetingspunt, waarna de rondleiding begint. Als je te laat bent, kun je proberen de gids te bellen en de groep bij de ingang van de Scheve Toren te bereiken.

While our tour guide was knowledgeable, the tour was both in English and Italian. This was disappointing and feel like only got value for half the time I paid for. Could not ask questions and our guide seemed to favor speaking more with the Italians in the group. At the end, felt disappointed. When I signed up for the tour, there was nothing said that it was to be in multiple languages.

If there are not enough passengers requesting the same language, the tour could be bilingual.” Regarding your impression that the guide spoke more in Italian — if you don’t speak the language, please rest assured that the guide provided the same information in both languages. Italian often requires more words to express the same concepts, which can make it sound longer, even when the content is identical. We know your guide personally and can confidently say they always ensure every guest feels included and free to ask questions, as you can also see reflected in many other reviews before yours. Of course, we all have to see the Tower - but in my opinion the Basilica steals the show. Absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Our guide Eloise successfully navigated our small group through the mobs getting their shots holding up the tower, while giving us a lot of great information. She was very kind and incredibly knowledgeable. If you're going to visit Pisa, I think you will be disappointed in your visit if you don't invest in a guided tour, a great guide like Eloise adds so much to the experience.

Very informative and interesting. Great photo opportunities. Surprisingly climbing down the tower was more frightening than going up.
