Expensive. Audio connection didn't happen. Lots of downloading apps/creating accounts/scanning QR codes & still no audio. Booked for 12pm, on tickets it was 1245, were delayed getting into tower as a result.
There are no bags or purses allowed in the Tower of Pisa, even small purses are not allowed. We found out the hard way. Several women with the smallest of purses were turned away as well. Other than that the experience of being on the top was satisfying. Climbing 257 marble stairs wasn’t hard but in 98° weather you can feel it. It was cool being up there at 12:00 noon when the bells chime. One and done experience but thrilled to have seen and climbed it.
Lovely to see, but do not book the tower if you have any type of disability not just severe ones. Anything muscular or asthmatic be very careful especially in summer, they adviced us when we got there not to attempt it. Beautiful place though.

It was great. Very easy! Loved climbing the tower. Highly recommend. However our requested time was not honored. Our ticket was an hour 15 min after requested. But it all worked out.

Summer months are extremely hot. I’m from Florida and thought that I was used to the heat boy was I wrong. I felt like I was getting heat exhaustion. Drink plenty of water and have electrolytes packages at hand. The view from the tower is breathtaking but the stairs are slippery bc they are made of marble. The heat is bad because there is no place to cool off. The stores offer to eat in doors and it makes the heat even worst. Bring hats and an umbrella. I received the time ticket the day before unfortunately I was not able to download the audio the app didn’t work.

Fantastic experience stairs are very slippery but we removed our shoes much easier Bag drop and toilets easy with tickets

Go to the locker check in first, no bags allowed .. like even small purses. Unless you're the... man... in front of me in line and got away with a fanny pack... so unfair. Wear shoes that have a good grip!! Also, in one of the nearby bathrooms, they only let people with credit cards use the toilet... the guard would not let me in with cash...so absolutely WRONG!! This discriminates against people who don't have credit cards, the credit cards make money on us doing a natural function and the taxes then follow, to be taxed in order to pee, not on my watch! This is insane. Plan ahead, you can get in so much cheaper buying the regular ticket, I went to Pisa on a whim and was pleased to know I could purchase this ticket, thanks! Please consider an option for a bathroom voucher included. Yes, I know if I go to the museum section it's free... it's more the principle of the credit card thing.

Definitely worth going up the tower. Very interesting stairs and great views from the top. However, despite the internet making it sound like tickets are hard to obtain there are 60 tickets every 15 minutes. The cost is €20 to buy from the ticket OFFICE. Not worth paying the 60% markup to buy on here.

This was a great experience. Although it was a hot day in mid June and the Leaning Tower of Pisa doesn’t have AC it was actually comfortable inside and the steps weren’t too bad. There are small stopping points along if needed. I’d highly recommend going to the top because the views of Pisa are breathtaking. Note if you bring a bag of any size purses included arrive a little early so you can put it in a locker. The lockers are not inside the tower they are across the green grassy area.

This was a great experience. We were happy to go early before the extreme heat. No bags are allowed but they had free lockers to use while in the tower. What I realized after the fact was that there were plugs for charging in the lockers!! You may only use them during your entrance in the tower. It was a slow walk up the stairs, but not too crowded. The timed tickets really help. Beautiful views from the top!
