Ervaar eens iets anders dan de bustours op het schip. Aan boord van onze voertuigen met een toegangsbewijs word je op loopafstand van de belangrijkste en bekendste toeristische attracties gebracht, net als een VIP! Onze chauffeur zal je veel informatie geven om de plaatsen die je bezoekt beter te kunnen waarderen. Met deze excursie kunt u twee van de mooiste steden van Toscane in alle comfort bewonderen en alle bezienswaardigheden in een paar uur bezoeken zonder u overweldigd te voelen. Eerste stop in Pisa met een korte rondleiding door de stad en een stop op Piazza dei MIracoli om de majestueuze Scheve Toren te bewonderen. Daarna ga je verder naar Lucca, waar je chauffeur je afzet binnen de oude muren en je deze mooie stad op eigen houtje kunt bezoeken. Aan het einde van de dag word je teruggebracht naar je schip.

Bij aankomst in de stad Pisa neemt onze chauffeur je mee op een korte autorondrit waar je de prachtige longarnos kunt bewonderen die door de rivier de Arno worden verdeeld.
Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa is, na Piazza del Duomo, het beroemdste plein van de stad. In de oudheid was het het centrum van de burgerlijke macht, terwijl het vanaf de tweede helft van de 16e eeuw het hoofdkwartier werd van de Orde van de Ridders van Sint Stefanus, gewild door Groothertog Cosimo I de' Medici. Vandaag de dag is het een centrum van culturele attractie en studie door de aanwezigheid van het hoofdkwartier van de Scuola Normale Superiore.

Zodra je aankomt in Lucca, zet je chauffeur je af binnen de oude en beroemde middeleeuwse muren, geeft je een kaart en kun je beginnen met je onafhankelijke bezoek aan deze betoverende stad.

This was not a tour. It was a very expensive taxi ride. Only service provided was dropping us off and picking us up in Pisa and Lucca. No information that a tour guide would normally provide. Would not recommend this tour or tour company. Poor reflection on Viator which will make me hesitate to ever book through again with Viator . Basically we were ripped off.
You were not scammed, you were a victim of your own ignorance. Your words are very offensive to our work and do not reflect the experiences of other travelers. It would have been enough to read the tour description instead of booking without having any idea of where you were. What we have offered you is what hundreds of customers have always appreciated over the years. The driver showed you Pisa and took you to Lucca, providing you with maps and all the information you need to visit the city on your own. If you were expecting a history lesson, you should have paid for a private guide. We wish you a happier life. Caterina
Matteo was on time to meet us at the cruise ship port for our tour to Pisa and Lucca. He was a friendly and safe driver, The van was clean and comfortable, and we had a great day!
Simone was our full day driver from the La Spezia port to Pisa, then on to Lucca - then back to the Port. I don’t often leave review - but we had an exceptional experience and I was compelled to leave a review. Our experience with Simone was wonderful. He was such a great guy, a safe and professional driver with an immaculately clean van - stocked with complimentary beverages. We had an unplanned quick stop and he was very accommodating. Our driver Simon was professional and personal the entire time. He is a local of both cities and was able to explain fun and enjoyable things to see and do. It was great being able to see Pisa, as the lines got longer as we were leaving. Lucca is hardley given any recognition of it endless amounts of restaurants, shop and churches. We were overwhelmingly surprised by Lucca and we are hoping to return for another trip for more days. Thank you Simon for an excellent adventure!
Simone was an excellent guide, friendly, excellent English, drove well and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. We all had a fantastic day. The van was great too.
Simon made this trip wonderful! He picked us up at the cruise port in a very nice van. My uncle is in a wheelchair and Simon was very accommodating. There was plenty of room, and fresh water for the ride. Pisa and Lucca were both remarkable. Simon was able to give us tips on the best way to see each area. He also pointed out many sights along the way to both cities and was very knowledgeable with any questions we had. He dropped us at each spot and arranged a spot for us to meet after. Worth every penny to book this private excursion.
On time and Emilio was awesome. Great sites and highly recommend this tour, it's worth the money. Our driver was from Pisa so he knew best places to go.
