Ervaar eens iets anders dan de bustours op het schip. Aan boord van onze voertuigen met een toegangsbewijs word je op loopafstand van de belangrijkste en bekendste toeristische attracties gebracht, net als een VIP! Onze chauffeur zal je veel informatie geven om de plaatsen die je bezoekt beter te kunnen waarderen. Korte autotour door de stad Pisa met een stop op Piazza dei Miracoli om de scheve toren, de kathedraal en het baptisterium te bewonderen. Daarna ga je verder naar Lucca, waar onze chauffeur je tot binnen de beroemde muren zal begeleiden en je op eigen houtje de verborgen schoonheden van deze gracieuze stad zal kunnen ontdekken. De chauffeur blijft beschikbaar indien nodig tot het einde van je tour om je op tijd terug te brengen naar de haven van Livorno om het schip te halen.

Bij aankomst in de stad Pisa neemt onze chauffeur je mee op een korte autorondrit waar je de prachtige longarnos kunt bewonderen die door de rivier de Arno worden verdeeld.
Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa is, na Piazza del Duomo, het beroemdste plein van de stad. In de oudheid was het het centrum van de burgerlijke macht, terwijl het vanaf de tweede helft van de 16e eeuw het hoofdkwartier werd van de Orde van de Ridders van Sint Stefanus, gewild door Groothertog Cosimo I de' Medici. Vandaag de dag is het een centrum van culturele attractie en studie door de aanwezigheid van het hoofdkwartier van de Scuola Normale Superiore.

Zodra je aankomt in Lucca, zet je chauffeur je af binnen de oude en beroemde middeleeuwse muren, geeft je een kaart en kun je beginnen met je onafhankelijke bezoek aan deze betoverende stad.

Simone is the best, we asked to modify our tour and even though it was off season he was able to find us a winery that was an amazing experience, he is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, he is highly recommended

Simone was a fantastic addition to our journey. We were lucky to get him. He got us to Pisa early so we beat the crowds to climb the tower. Lucca was one of the most beautiful cities we’ve visited however when we asked him if there were any wineries close by, he arranged lunch and a tour on the fly and my family and I enjoyed a fantastic wine pairing lunch. All this and were able to arrive back at the cruise port with 14 minutes to spare 😂 This was one of our best days of the trip and we have Simone to thank for it.
This was a great tour! Private tour provided by a local, which allows him to take his vehicle right INTO the old town areas of Pisa and Lucca. Simone was an exceptional guide who answered all questions and was willing to make any request happen. We wanted a "traditional" Italian restaurant and not a "touristy" one. He came through! it was so good! Simone's vehicle was impeccably clean and made sure to point out important sites along the way. He happily all of our random questions! If you're going to go to Pisa on a cruise tour, Simone would be my first choice!
Simone was an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable about the region and was easy to talk to. My mother has mobility issues and this tour allowed her to participate in everything. After taking the obligatory pictures in Pisa, we drove to Lucca, where we had lunch in an amazing restaurant and toured Lucca Old Town. Simone made sure to point out some interesting sites to see.
We made an excellent excursion. Our guide/driver showed all interesting spots and even added a free visit to Livourno. He did his best to give us a great time and was very successful. 5 stars without hesitation.
