Beschrijving
Tijdens een wandeling door de nauwe straatjes van Piran wordt u meegenomen naar de middeleeuwen; u leert hoe mensen hier woonden enkele eeuwen geleden leefden. Tijdens een 90-minuten durende wandeling met gidsen die allemaal in de omgeving wonen, hoort u geweldige verhalen van hun grootouders; lokale vissers, zoutproducenten en nog veel meer.

Ontmoetingspunt waar je introductie hoort over Slovenië & Piran. Het belangrijkste plein van de stad vandaag de dag was vroeger een haven en we zullen je vertellen waarom er geen zee meer is.
U hoort een interessante legende over Venetiaanse gotische stijl huis, dat is een van de mooiste historische gebouwen in de stad.
700 jaar oud klooster, wat niet altijd mogelijk is om te bezoeken, maar we zullen ons best doen om u rond te leiden.
We zullen de muren van veraf bekijken en beschrijven welk doel van de verdediging het had om de stad te beschermen.
Panoramisch uitzichtpunt vanaf de top van de heuvel is geweldig, als het weer helder is zie je 3 landen vanaf 1 plek.
Het hart van de stad waar vroeger de grootste watervoorziening voor bewoners was. Tegenwoordig is zeer levendig deel van de stad met een aantal geweldige eetgelegenheden, die u ook zult proberen, samen met een aantal lokale wijn.

Great evening! Jan was the perfect informative host mixing the right amount of knowledge of the history and culture of Piran with humour. The tasting of local wines/ olive oils/ cheese/ hams/ sausage was generous and tasty. Would definitely recommend.
Jan was a great tour guide! Showed us the sights of Piran and then we had a lovely food and wine tasting :) really worthwhile tour!!

This tour was absolutely delightful! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable (and passionate!) about Piran. We were able to learn about the history of the town while taking in the sites. The tour included a tasting which was absolutely wonderful. We got to sample 11 different olive oils, various truffles, meat, as well as wine. The tasting was done at an adorable shop right in the heart of Piran. The best part was we were able to come back the next day and purchase our favorite products! I cannot recommend this tour enough if you visiting Piran!
The Taste of Piran tour was amazing - it gave a brilliant overview of the towns history and main sites, walking through the gorgeous tiny streets. The wine and food tasting afterwards was a lovely insight into some local businesses and culture - the black truffle and olive paste and the goats cheese were my favourite! Jan was a brilliant tour guide, super friendly and insightful and gave some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We tried out his dinner recommendation of Ivo after the tour which was excellent and would definitely go again! We though the tour was definitely great value for money and would recommend to anyone wanting an insight into Piran!!
Thoroughly enjoyed the walking part and listening to our guides stories. The wine, olive oil and truffle tasting was very informative and our guide made it fun. I’d highly recommend this tour and it’s great value for money.
