Deze motorboottocht van een hele dag vanuit Nassau zal je zeker niet teleurstellen als je je bucketlist op de Bahama's wilt afstrepen! Bezoek Harbour Island, Eleuthera, de thuisbasis van het 'Pink Sands Beach' en zwem met varkens in een eendaags avontuur. Dit is onze vergaderlocatie waar gasten inchecken voor de rondvaart en aan boord gaan van de boot.
Na een boottocht van 90 minuten vanaf Paradise Island kom je aan op Meeks Patch Island. Meeks Patch is de thuisbasis van zwemmende varkens op de eilanden Eleuthera. Dit eiland staat bekend om zijn zeer vriendelijke zwemmende varkens. Bij deze halte hebben gasten ongeveer 45 minuten om met de varkens te zwemmen, ze te voeren en de andere dierenbewoners te bekijken.
De rijtijd van Meeks Patch Island naar deze locatie is ongeveer 35 minuten rond het meest noordelijke punt van Eleuthera Island. De boot komt aan bij een ondiepe baai waar je kunt eten en de wilde zeeschildpadden kunt aanraken terwijl ze rondzwemmen. Gasten zullen ongeveer 30 minuten op deze locatie doorbrengen.
Na een korte boottocht van 15 minuten komt u aan op Harbour Island, Eleuthera. Hier geniet je van een heerlijke lunch in een lokaal restaurant voordat je in golfkarretjes springt voor een snelle rit naar het strand. De tijd doorgebracht in het restaurant is ongeveer 1 uur.
Een snelle rit met een golfkar door de stad brengt je naar de belangrijkste attractie van deze tour. Pink Sands Beach, zo toepasselijk genoemd naar zijn lichtroze tint, strekt zich bijna vijf kilometer uit aan de Atlantische kant van het eiland. Travel and Leisure heeft dit strand gerangschikt op nummer 4 van 11 prachtige roze zandstranden over de hele wereld. Breng tijd door met verkennen, zwemmen en ontspannen.
Spring op de boot voor een rit van 40 minuten langs de eilanden van Eleuthera tot de laatste halte. Hier is een ondiepe zandbank die niet aan een land is bevestigd, compleet met houten schommels die zorgen voor een geweldige fotomoment. Gasten hebben ongeveer 25 minuten op deze locatie.
Geniet van de laatste rit van de dag terug naar onze vergaderlocatie. De rijtijd is ongeveer 60 minuten.

An absolutely unforgettable day with Born Free Charters! From the most gorgeous sandbar with swings and stingrays, to swimming with turtles and feeding the sweetest pigs and their adorable babies, every moment was magical. Pink Sands Beach was the perfect finale to an incredible Harbour Island adventure. We never felt rushed at any of the stops, just didn’t want the day to end. Special thanks to our awesome Captain and crew, they were great!
Best Excursion ever! Captain Keith, deck hands Wilson and Celine amazing! Super friendly, very knowledgeable!!!! Can’t beat the stingrays up close, pigs, turtles, valentines and best of all the pink sandy beach at harbor island!!! Best one ever for my family! You have do do Born free charters! Overall, we had a great experience, but I wish I’d had more accurate expectations going in. This is not a leisurely pontoon or lounge-style boat tour. It’s a high speed boat that gets you quickly between the highlights, including the swimming pigs, Pink Sands Beach, and swimming with turtles. The tradeoff is that it’s loud, fast, and not really possible to chat with your group during the ride. I was also expecting a snorkeling stop, but there isn’t any snorkeling on this tour. It’s strictly swimming and beach time. I didn’t pack my kids’ goggles because I assumed snorkeling gear would be part of the experience, so that was disappointing. One other surprise: a week before the tour, I was told I owed about $200 more because my children, ages 9 and 10, no longer qualified for the child rate. That was unexpected and frustrating. That said, the destinations themselves are absolutely stunning and made for an unforgettable day. It’s a fantastic tour as long as you know what you’re signing up for.

Consistently offering drinks, sharing about the history of the island and making us feel comfortable getting in the water with the Sting Rays! Amazing experience, we had such an incredible time with the crew and other people on the boat with music and drinks on the way to the pigs, then went to see sea turtles which was one of my favorite parts, the the restaurant and pink sands beach which I didnt want to leave. The last spot was the spot with the swings we got to see all kinds of sea life and really had an amazing time together and our 2 year was having a blast 2. Sea stars , sea turtles, dolphins, sting rays, a live conch, shells, hermits, crabs, fish and more. It was bucklist worthy. I was wishing to spend some more time on pink sands beach. I definitely recommend this free born charter tour and the crew makes you feel safe.
