Casa Pilatos, gelegen op de gelijknamige Plaza, nodigt ons uit om een van de minst bekende monumenten in de stad te bezoeken en een van de meest mishandelde monumenten tijdens de oorlogen die Sevilla heeft meegemaakt. Disney zei het echter al in "Mulan": "De bloem die bloeit in tegenspoed is de zeldzaamste en mooiste van allemaal." En Casa Pilatos is precies die bloem die zoveel tegenspoed heeft doorstaan en ons een decadent romantische schoonheid biedt vergezeld van een geschiedenis vol symboliek, mythologie en legende. Het ideale bezoek om iets meer te weten te komen over onze cultuur, onze architectuur en de verborgen magie van sommige hoeken van Sevilla.

We had a wonderful visit to Casa de Pilotes with Isabel. She was very communicative prior to the day of our tour and met us promptly at the designated time. interesting the relationship of the Mozarabic culture with its characteristic gypsyria and the Seville culture with its vivid tiles of colors. He has no works of the first line but if one interesting as the bearded madonna

What a wonderful afternoon I spent with Isabel during my private tour of Pilates’ house&garden!!! Isabel was so emphatic and charming, like I met a relative from another country! Isabel was a wonderful tour guide! We spent the morning with her seeing the Pilates House and the Bullring. Her knowledge of both was amazing! Don’t miss going to the Pilates House! I would highly recommend her!!

Small jewel to visit before the Real Alcazar.audioguide well structured and full of insights. Too bad that the first floor is currently not open but even the ground floor is still worth a visit. Recommended.

Allow 1 to 2 hours to be ecstatic in front of the details and decorated rooms of this private house; the history of the place is worth it.
