Het nationale park Pillanesburg, op slechts 2 uur rijden van Johannesburg, biedt een prachtig landschap en de kans om Afrika's Big Five te spotten (luipaard, leeuw, olifant, neushoorn en buffel). Tijdens deze tour ga je op een spannende gamedrive per minivan of open safarivoertuig (afhankelijk van de geselecteerde touroptie) en geniet je van ongelooflijke fotomomenten

Wat te verwachten Je vertrekt vanuit je hotel in Johannesburg voor deze Majestic Africa Day Safari die op ongeveer 2 uur rijden van Johannesburg ligt. Reis in stijl terwijl je door Johannesburg naar de Noordwest-provincie van Zuid-Afrika reist met verschillende landschappen op de achtergrond. Na een uur rijden heeft je gids een pitstop om je benen te strekken en een optie om een warm of koud drankje te drinken, afhankelijk van het weer of het seizoen. Vanaf daar begint u aan nog een rit van anderhalf uur rechtstreeks naar het Pillanesburg National Park. Afhankelijk van uw keuze, wordt u in een open voertuig of in ons busje gebracht en de rest is voor u om te verkennen. De safari duurt ongeveer 3 tot 4 uur, afhankelijk van de dieren en daarna spring je terug naar je hotel in Johannesburg. Een prachtige Afrika Safari wacht op je! Opties A: gamedrive van 3 uur opent voertuig Optie B: gamedrive van 4 tot 5 uur met privébus.

The actual Safari drive - in our opinion, can only be enjoyed fully by using one of the reserve open trucks. Be careful when you book - we had an extremely unpleasant experience because apparently there is a difference between the Viator description and the actual operator understanding.

2-2.5 hour drive from Johannesburg. Was able to see 2 of the Big 5. Tour guide MK was fun and knowledgeable on hunting and other matters. Was a good experience all in all. Would recommend to others who are staying in Johannesburg to visit Pilanesburg national park. Note: The listing states free lunch and ride on open Cab. These were not provided.

Your tour guide makes all the difference! MK was our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable and chill and we felt completely safe going to the park and with a 2 Hour drive it was worth every bit of it. We saw so many animals got great footage and overall truly enjoyed our experience and felt like we got a good idea of what South Africa really was I would highly highly highly suggest you take this trip and ask for MK “who is usually booked” as your guide oppose others it truly made the difference.

I had the opportunity to make this tour in september, and the experience was far beyond my expectations. The guide Mkateko Maluleke couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Explained me everything that I should expect from the tour. Told me stories about the places that we were passing through our way to Pilanesberg, and the most important: He picked me up on time! There wasn't 1 minute of delay. As a world traveler, I totally recommend taking this or any of the other tours thar Virgio Tours offer.
