Spectacular, I recommend. The guide Matias, was familiar with the route, and very friendly. Beautiful places, easy walking and well marked
It is a beautiful walk from the airport, to the Church of Our Lady of Grace, overlooking the beach and the whole village of Porto Santo. In certain areas there were many birds, who traveled the whole area singing, it was relaxing and very beautiful.
Sadly the guide didn’t turn up and despite me ringing 3 times and leaving 2 voicemail messages it took me to seek a refund before any comms was made from the provider at 11.38. They tried to tell me they were at the hotel reception at 10.27 but would have driven passed me as I was at the entrance to the hotel as instructed and not reception! No Porto Santo Tours van entered the hotel between 10.20 and 11.05 as that is how long I waited! Super disappointed especially after my tour operator cancelled too due an emergency and I didn’t get to do the hike. Personally felt a bit scammed but should be getting my money back from aviator!
Trip was amazing! We will come back and call this guide again :) a lot of adventure and beautiful views from the island!!!!
Walk with spectacular views! Various views of the island. Matias was very friendly and available, took several photos that later shared with me! Quiet and easy route. I recommend!!!
