Het prachtige Phuket met zijn prachtige stranden, culturele tempels, kleurrijke steden en pittoreske kustlijnen is een van de mooiste eilanden die Thailand te bieden heeft. Als je de dag wilt doorbrengen op de meest Instagrambare plekken van Phuket of gewoon de schoonheid van het eiland wilt bewonderen, dan is deze dagtour iets voor jou! Laat je niet misleiden door de naam! De oude binnenstad van Phuket staat bekend om zijn levendig gekleurde, eeuwenoude Chinees-Portugese huizen die je naar een ander tijdperk zullen brengen. We dwalen door de straten, nemen de bezienswaardigheden en geluiden in ons op en verkennen Soi Romanee, een van de beroemdste straten in de oude stad.
De volgende is de Chaithararam-tempel of Wat Chalong. Het is de grootste en meest heilige tempel in Phuket, omdat het een botfragment van Boeddha herbergt. We dwalen rond in de tempel en nemen de decoratieve muren en plafonds in je op die mozaïeken van het leven van Boeddha uitbeelden.
Nadat we de glorie van Wat Chalong in ons hebben opgenomen, gaan we naar The Big Buddha, toepasselijk genoemd naar het grote 45 meter hoge albasten standbeeld van Boeddha die bovenop een heuvel zit. We maken enkele foto's van dit beroemde monument en het omliggende landschap.
We nemen later een adempauze en nemen deel aan een heerlijke lokale lunch voordat we op weg gaan naar Promthep Cape om foto's te maken van nog meer zeegezichten en prachtige uitzichten om het avontuur van de dag te gedenken.
Om de dag af te sluiten gaan we naar Ya Nui Beach waar we wat vrije tijd hebben om te rusten en te ontspannen, snorkelen en zwemmen.

Gratis ophalen en terugbrengen: hotels in Naithon, Cherngtalay/Laguna, Surin, Bangtao, Kamala (alleen tussen Wat Kamala en Novotel Kamala), Kalim, Patong, Karon, Kata, Kathu, Koh Kaew en Chalong. Buiten gratis ophaalgebieden: voor ophalen in Maikhao, Naiyang, Panwa, Koh Srirey, Naiharn, Rawai en Saiyuan geldt een toeslag van 200 THB per persoon. De chauffeur neemt de avond vóór uw activiteitsdatum contact met u op om de exacte ophaaltijd te bevestigen. Controleer uw e-mail voor de update. Zorg ervoor dat u 10 minuten vóór de aangegeven tijd in de lobby van uw hotel aanwezig bent. Hoe eerder je begint, hoe beter je het wegverkeer en wachtrijen bij de attracties kunt vermijden, vooral in het hoogseizoen. The one day Phuket instagram tour was worth every bath. You’ll get to see the Old Town, the Wat Chalong temple area, the Big Buddha, Promthep Cape and there’s time for a dip at the beautiful Nui Beach as well. Our guide Max was such a good guide, he was funny and gave us insights in the Thai life style and shared his knowledge about the places we went to. It’s very convenient to be picked up and dropped off at your hotel. During the tour water is provided for free. We also had a lunch stop after seeing the Big Buddha. The restaurant served a delicious meal and I drank a Passion fruit shake with the meal, that was so good. We highly recommend this tour, it’s a 5 star experience. THIS TOUR WAS MADE FOR ME!! Let me preface this by saying that I had a whole list of attractions in Phuket that I wanted to see (e.g. Old Phuket Town, Big Buddha, Nui Beach, etc.) and color me surprised when I saw this tour that had literally all the places I wanted to visit in ONE DAY! Sara my tour guide was exceptional!!! I don’t have enough words to express Sara’s awesomeness! She picked me up on time, stopped for some snacks when I mentioned I was a bit hungry, and was ever so patient with taking photos of me. Plus, she was amazingly detailed while telling me about the history and culture of the places we went to. If it’s not obvious yet, I FULLY, WHOLLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR! You will not regret it!!

Overall it was very good tour. Some great sights especially before lunch like the big buddha, temple and all the viewpoints. In particular nui beach was fantastic. The sights we saw in the afternoon were not as good like the cashew nut factory and the museums, didnt see much of the old town unfortunately. Guide anek and driver were both great
