* Gedetailleerd tijdschema: 07: 45- 08:00: onze auto en gids halen gasten op in hun hotel in Dong Hoi. Van daaruit wordt u meegenomen naar de Dark cave (gelegen in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park). -OF - 8: 45-9: 10: Onze chauffeur haalt u op bij uw hotel in het dorp Phong Nha en brengt u vervolgens naar Dark Cave (gelegen in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park). Neem deel aan de vele avontuurlijke activiteiten: zipline, modderbad, kajak, zwemmen, enz. (65 km van de stad, ongeveer 60 minuten rijden). Activiteiten: modderbad, ziplining, zwemmen, kajakken, avonturenparcours, speleologie etc. 12:30: Lunch in een lokaal restaurant in het dorp Phong Nha. Neem vooraf contact met ons op als u dieetbeperkingen heeft en wij zullen ons best doen om u te ontvangen. 13:30 Vertrek voor je verkenning van de meest indrukwekkende Phong Nha-grotten. Je neemt dan een rit van 25 minuten naar de grot via traditionele drakenboot. Deze grot wordt een watergrot genoemd omdat deze een ondergrondse rivier heeft. Nadat je per boot de grot bent binnengegaan, verken je te voet 300 meter de grot in. Daarna wordt u per boot teruggenomen. Deze grot is beroemd om zijn spectaculaire rotsformaties. Het heeft namen gekregen zoals de "leeuw", de "feeëngrotten", de "koninklijke rechtbank" en de "Boeddha" ... 16:00 Terug naar Dong Hoi of Phong Nha Village. De tour eindigt wanneer u bij uw hotel wordt afgezet. **** Neem zeker mee: zwemkleding en handdoek. Dark cave is een avontuurlijke en actievolle ervaring. Een bezoek aan deze grot omvat getuigde ritsvoering over een turquoise rivier, zwemmen in de mond van de grot (zwemvesten inbegrepen), wandelen door het donker met alleen de hoofdlamp op je mijnhelm om de weg te verlichten, een moddergevecht in de drijvende modder baden diep in de grot, wassen schoon met een duik in het meer in de grot, dan kajakken terug over de rivier om je kracht te testen op de hangende hindernisbaan en open kabelbanen.

I was quite underwhelmed with this tour- especially for the price. The guides weren’t great, we finished up at Dark cave quickly and waited around doing nothing for an hour and a half then went and had lunch then onto Phong Nha cave. Definitely not worth the money. I have been in several amazing tours here for much cheaper.
Great trip. Dark cave expereince was really good. Phong ma caves were not as amazing as it was hyped to be! I believe the tour guide could have explained more about the history pf caves and how these caves are formed.
This was an absolutely incredible day. We booked the Dark Cave tour but the way they run the tours is you do one in the morning and a second in the afternoon. We were also given the choice to change the caves we went to if we wanted so it was all super casual and easygoing which was great. As it was raining in the morning we did Paradise Cave then and in the afternoon some did dark cave and some did phong nha cave as these involve more outdoor adventure elements so was good to have the dry weather. As others reviewers have said you need to bring a towel and swimmers for the dark cave tour. It’s so much fun and full of variety, doing the zip line towards the cave entrance, then you swim there and swim through the cave, then you trek through the cave for the mud bath, and then return and kayak back to the start. For those who weren’t strong swimmers there was a paddle board to sit on for the swimming sections. The food at lunchtime was amazing and had a meat and a vegetarian platter. Our guide Victor was excellent, super friendly and lots to point out on our way to the caves. Overall just a fantastic day I can’t recommend it enough.
This is a good tour, the cages are breath taking and the tour guides are very friendly and helpful. I do wish however that more information was available on TripAdvisor. If you weigh more than 90 kgs you cannot participate in the zipline activities. Also, you need to pack swimmers, a change of clothes and a towel. We did dark cave first which has the mud bath and a lot of swimming activities.. you require to dry yourself and get changed prior to heading to paradise cave. Also, if it's wet weather, you will need a rain coat. Apart from not having all the information available, the tour is definitely worth doing! Do yourself a favour and explore this amazing national park.
Phong Nha Cave is a gift by nature. Viewing to rock formation is really amazing. Mudbath is impressive, my family having fun and excitement at same time. In Vietnam, we can back to travel. So I choose this tour to explore the beauty of nature with my girlfriend. The cave is huge and majestic. The kayaking is extremely suppering fun.
We loved our dark cave day - our tour guides Chocolate and Pinky (their nicknames!) were knowledgeable and kind, and led us on a fun day of zip lining, kayaking, touring caves, finding a mudbath, and playing around in a fun water obstacle course. We had a great day and would absolutely book this tour again.
