Beperkte tijd aanbieding, laagste prijs in Arizona! Welkom bij een vliegervaring voor beginners in een trainingstweedekker uit WOII. U wordt blootgesteld aan het vliegen in een open cockpit tweedekker over de McDowall Mountains. De Stearman tweedekker werd 80 jaar geleden gebruikt om les te geven aan de luchtvaartcadetten uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, dus je leert in een authentiek stukje geschiedenis. Er zijn maar 2 stoelen in het vliegtuig, een voor jou en een voor mij. We beginnen met een preflight inspectie gevolgd door een uitleg van de radio's en bediening. We kunnen soepel en vlak vliegen, of we kunnen wat meer energieke manoeuvres toevoegen voor degenen die een meer opwindende ervaring wensen. Je wordt uitgenodigd om de bediening over te nemen als onderdeel van de ervaring. Van motorstart tot terugkeer duurt ongeveer 30 minuten hoewel de gehele ervaring ongeveer 1,5 uur duurt. Dit is een unieke ervaring waarbij je wordt blootgesteld aan hetzelfde type training dat de "Grootste Generatie" deed tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Het is alsof je bijna 80 jaar terug in de tijd reist

What an incredible experience! Craig was an outstanding host from start to finish. I booked this open-cockpit Stearman biplane flight as a special experience for my wife, and she absolutely loved every minute of it! The flight on April 17th was thrilling yet smooth and safe. Sitting in the classic WWII-era Stearman with the wind rushing by gave her a real sense of adventure and freedom in the air. Craig (Donald Craig Judd) is a fantastic pilot—professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the aircraft. He made her feel completely comfortable and safe the whole time. She came back with a huge smile and said it was one of the most memorable experiences she’s ever had. This is a unique and exciting way to see the world from above. Every penny was worth it! I would highly recommend this flight to anyone looking for something special, whether as a gift or a personal adventure. You won’t regret it.
It was a really cool experience to get to ride in a Steerman over Phoenix! The instructor is super nice and the flight is really fun! He lets you take controls for a little bit and do some maneuvers if you’re comfortable, but you can just ride along too if that’s what you want. I had a great time and I would definitely recommend!!
This was a gift from my daughter as a "bucket list" experience and it did not disappoint. Craig did a great job explaining the history and the technology of the times before the flight. I was allowed to take controls briefly to get the "feel" of the airplane. What a treat!
