Geniet van de prachtige Arizona Sonoran woestijn als nooit tevoren! Zwevend 2.000 - 5.000 voet over de woestijn in een heteluchtballon, het 360 graden onbelemmerde uitzicht en de rust van de vlucht is adembenemend. Na uw 45 - 60 minuten durende heteluchtballonvlucht worden gasten getrakteerd op gekoelde champagne en verzorgde maaltijden in het hart van de woestijn, de perfecte start van de dag. Vervoer van en naar het hotel is beschikbaar, indien de optie is geselecteerd. Pick-up is beschikbaar bij huis en hotel locaties in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Glendale, Mesa, Arcadia en Cave Creek (indien binnen 30 minuten van onze check-in locatie).

Alle tochten met een heteluchtballon checken in op het Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, tenzij de optie retourtransfers van en naar het hotel is geselecteerd. Gasten zullen boven de ontzagwekkende Sonorawoestijn zweven en lokale bezienswaardigheden, dieren in het wild en planten van bovenaf bekijken.
Geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op de iconische Camelback Mountain in het hart van de Phoenix Valley. Je piloot deelt de geschiedenis van deze fascinerende stad en wijst op de lokale fauna en flora.
U zult in staat zijn om Downtown Phoenix te zien in de verte als je zweeft over de vallei. Als je begint te landen, zie je een tafel compleet met beddengoed en servies in het hart van de woestijn, een aanwijzing voor wat je gaat genieten! U wordt begroet met een traditioneel feest dat een heerlijk vooraf geselecteerd ontbijt en gekoelde champagne omvat. - Comfortabele vrijetijdskleding is altijd aan te bevelen tijdens onze ballonvaarten, omdat we genieten van de natuur in een woestijnomgeving. De temperatuur in de ballon is ongeveer hetzelfde als op de grond, dus zorg ervoor dat je je gepast kleedt voor de verwachte temperaturen van de dag. Op een bepaalde dag raden wij gesloten teen schoenen, een lichte jas, zonnebrandcrème, een hoed, zonnebril en een camera
- Om een veilige luchtballonvaart te garanderen, mogen passagiers niet zwanger zijn op het moment van de vlucht, of recent geopereerd zijn of botten gebroken hebben, en moeten ze kunnen staan voor de duur van de vlucht (ongeveer 60 minuten). Men moet van de tweede trede van een ladder kunnen springen en in goede algemene gezondheid zijn. Alle passagiers zijn verplicht om een verklaring van afstand van aansprakelijkheid in te vullen voor de tour.
- De totale tourtijd is 3 - 4 uur als u elkaar ontmoet op onze inchecklocatie of 4 - 5 uur als u gebruikmaakt van onze retourtransportdiensten van het hotel. De totale tourtijd is inclusief uw transfers naar onze woestijnlanceerplaats, het bekijken van de inflatie van de ballon, de ongeveer 45 - 60 minuten durende heteluchtballonvaart, post-flight bubbels en beten, evenals de presentatie van herdenkingsvliegcertificaten om mee naar huis te nemen.
- Onze tours vinden plaats in de Sonorawoestijn, en de natuur voorziet helaas niet in een toilet. Onze lanceer- en landingsplaatsen variëren van dag tot dag, afhankelijk van de wind, meestal in afgelegen delen van de woestijn. Hoewel er meestal overvloedig bomen en struiken zijn, zijn er geen toiletvoorzieningen beschikbaar tijdens uw reis, dus zorg ervoor dat u gebruik maakt van het toilet voor de vlucht!
- Hoewel we de meest vliegbare dagen per jaar hebben van overal in het land, kan slecht weer voorkomen. Om deze reden raden we altijd aan om uw ballonvaartexcursie vroeg in uw verblijf te boeken, zodat u alternatieve datum(s) voor uw vlucht heeft als er slecht weer is op de door u geselecteerde vluchtdatum. In het geval van een weerannulering zijn er geen kosten voor u, en u kunt verzetten wanneer het u uitkomt, of uw reservering volledig annuleren.

Having to wake up very early to drive to the airport, to then drive to the balloon location in a bumpy van with no talking or any kind of entertainment was dull. We were then told to wait in the van while the pilot evaluated the weather. We were not upset about the flight canceling due to the weather, but there was no communication. I’m in aviation and saw the cells and looked over the TAF.. it was forecasted to be higher winds. We waited for an hour in the van.. with no other conversation from the pilot or driver.. and then told it was canceled due to the winds. If there had been some sort of communication and even if the driver talked and asked questions it would have been a pleasant experience. To then drive back another 45 minutes… I wouldn’t book with you guys again to be honest.. not trying to be mean.. but I’d rather it be an entire event from start to finish.
Fun exercise. Felt totally safe. The only thing you need tobbe prepared for is the amount of heat that is used to fly the hot air ballon I would suggest wearing a hat .I would definetly use this company again

Booked this for my girlfriend’s. Our balloon ride got cancelled for weather, which I get, but they waited until our exact scheduled pickup time to tell us. They had to have known beforehand since they’d have needed to already be on their way to pick us up, so there’s no reason they couldn’t have told us sooner. Because of that timing we’d already checked out of our hotel and ended up with nowhere to stay, and they weren’t able to help when we called. Weather happens, but waiting until the last second to tell us something they already knew was not okay

Safety is always our highest priority, and because hot air ballooning is entirely weather dependent, our FAA-licensed pilots continuously monitor conditions up until launch. On the morning of your flight, we notified all passengers as soon as our pilots determined that conditions were not safe to fly. At that point, your driver was already en route for your scheduled pickup. We can absolutely understand how frustrating it must have been to receive the cancellation notice after you had already checked out of your hotel, and we appreciate you sharing that perspective. While weather decisions sometimes must be made later than we would like due to everchanging conditions, we've shared your feedback with our piloting team to provide as much notice as possible, whenever possible. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this caused and appreciate your understanding that safety must always come first.

As advertised, do look for the company’s email ,Viator is a little out of the look on correct information; location close but about 1/8 mile in opposite direction.The food is not from the advertised restaurant.A lot of Costco items ,but it was all their the set up ,transportation and crew were all there ,tough to hear driver in van ride ,but most likely didn’t miss much .Highly recommend the company,

The overall experience was really good, from the initial pickup meeting all the way to the balloon landing. However, the pilot was quite rude when verifying our vouchers at the end of the adventure. After booking the experience through Groupon and receiving a booking confirmation from Hot Air Expeditions, I had already marked my vouchers as "used." Because of this, the voucher numbers were no longer visible. The pilot became unnecessarily rude when asking for them, which was a disappointing end to a great trip.

Book your adventure early in the week because we were canceled, because of wind,on the day we scheduled, but were able to squeeze it in on the next day. Our Pilot Tommy was amazing. Very professional and also fun. He took time to make sure we were comfortable & felt safe. This was an incredible ride…so peaceful and beautiful! The breakfast was delicious and they even accommodated me with a gluten-free muffin. The basket was a little tough to get in and out of, but I did it even with a bad knee and one knee replacement.
