Philadelphia is misschien wel de bakermat van de vrijheid, maar het is ook een stad die is opgeschrikt door waargebeurde, afschuwelijke verhalen over de stad die Edgar Allen Poe inspireerde om "The Murders of Rue Morgue" en "The Raven" te schrijven. Tijdens deze tour zijn mogelijke waarnemingen onder meer ontheiligende Duitse soldaten, de tragische Edgar Allen Poe, de moorddadige kok van Bishop White en misschien zelfs een dansende Ben Franklin! Bezienswaardigheden waar onze paranormale experts je langs leiden en die ze behandelen, zijn onder andere Pennsylvania Hospital, City Tavern en Carpenter's Hall.

Onze eerste stop is het Betsy Ross House, waar de geest van Betsy Ross zelf ronddwaalt. Getuigen hebben gemeld dat ze haar spookachtige figuur midden in de nacht de eerste Amerikaanse vlag zagen borduren. Voel de kou als je hoort over de griezelige gebeurtenissen in dit koloniale huis.
Stop buiten Independence Hall, waar de Declaration of Independence en de Constitution werden besproken en aangenomen. Maar wist u dat het ook een hotspot is voor paranormale activiteit? Velen hebben gemeld dat ze gefluister over de Founding Fathers en de echo van voetstappen in de historische hallen hebben gehoord.
Carpenter's Hall was de ontmoetingsplek van het Eerste Continentale Congres, maar staat ook bekend om zijn paranormale verschijnselen. Wandel door de heilige hallen en luister naar verhalen over spookachtige figuren die nog steeds geheime bijeenkomsten bijwonen.
Maak kennis met Benjamin Franklin op de begraafplaats waar hij begraven ligt. Naar verluidt stal hij het kleingeld van bezoekers en gooide hij er centen naar!
Stop bij het Bishop White House, waar de geest van Bishop William White zou verblijven. Van flikkerende lichten tot mysterieuze voetstappen, dit huis biedt vele paranormale ervaringen die u betoverd zullen achterlaten.

Bruce was very informative and personable. He gave us little bits of Philly's history and related it to the architecture of the buildings. I loved being on a tour in the evening since it was cooler and more mysterious and with fewer people. I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get to actually go into the buildings but it certainly was enjoyable walking around outside. I was less impressed with the ghost stories and more impressed with the solid facts.
It is heavily historically oriented, which we loved! Jennifer’s delivery was dramatic and kept us involved in the stories.
Bruce was a great and knowledgeable. We heard ghost stories and history stories. Thank you for a great tour!
Had a good time walking with Robert. He was very knowledgeable of the area and haunts. Note to patrons… Ensure you are ON TIME. This is a group event - we ended up with a late start and left people behind because they were 5 blocks away. I caught two photos of something in the windows where Robert said a woman and a black cat haunted it.

Jenna jumped in at the last minute to cover for a fellow employee, and we could not have been happier! She offers a combination of historical and personal twists to the ghost tour, made it fun, and was incredibly personable. She also helped us address a couple of additional late ads to our tour, which unfortunately caused a little bit of misunderstanding at the beginning of the tour, delaying us, but she was patient and helped us to work things out on the spot so that we could get on with our tour. Really appreciate the amazing tour and her flexibility. Highly recommend- thank you Jenna!

Jenna was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. Loved that she told some ghost stories that were her own personal accounts.
