Onze eendaagse Petra en Wadi Rum-tour vanuit Eilat biedt een werkelijk geweldige ervaring. Deze legendarische 'verloren stad' van Petra werd meer dan 2500 jaar geleden uitgehouwen in de muren van een woestijncanion. Geniet van het wildernisavontuur op een korte 4x4 jeeptour door Wadi Rum, in de voetsporen van Lawrence of Arabia, klim zandduinen en rotsbruggen. Inbegrepen in deze tour zijn alle toegangsprijzen, begeleiding, transport en lunch.

In de ochtend ontmoet onze vertegenwoordiger u met een bord op uw naam aan de voorkant van uw schip. U passeert de majestueuze Wadi Rum-woestijn en het Sharah-gebergte en brengt u in ongeveer 02 uur rechtstreeks naar de rozerode rotsstad Petra, een must-see in het Midden-Oosten. De legendarische hoofdstad van de Nabateeër is beroemd om zijn grandeur en prachtige architectuur, en je hebt de mogelijkheid om er vandaag een deel van te zien. Bij aankomst in het bezoekerscentrum begin je met je gids naar de Siq, een smalle kloof, totdat je de prachtige Schatkist, Al Khazneh, het beroemdste monument van Petra, bereikt. Volg vanaf hier de Straat van Gevels en als de tijd het toelaat naar de Royal Tombs. Loop zelf terug naar het bezoekerscentrum. Na het buffet lunch in een restaurant
Wadi Rum, een van de meest indrukwekkende woestijnlandschappen ter wereld. Ontmoet onze Engels sprekende bedoeïenenvertegenwoordiger die uw chauffeur is. Je zult genieten van het wildernisavontuur van een 4x4 jeeptour door Wadi Rum, in de voetsporen van Lawrence of Arabia, zandduinen en rotsbruggen beklimmen. Start de 4x4 uur 4x4 jeep-tour. De sites die u gaat bezoeken zijn: Lawrence Spring, Sand Dunes, Khazali Canyon en Little Bridge. Ontmoet onze chauffeur opnieuw en keer 01 uur terug naar het cruiseschip in Aqaba met de herinneringen aan een spannende dag.

We had a spectacular day with Ziaza(? Sp) and Achmed our driver. We were picked up on time (turn right out of terminal and go around the cruiseline tour buses) and we had a full 12 hour tour. Our guide recommended (and booked) golf carts for a large number of our party of 14. So glad he did! He also helped us get local currency to pay. We had ample time to visit as far as the theatre then walked back to the Treasury to get our return shuttles. Our next stop was a lovely lunch at the beautiful Petra View Hotel. Buffet style and very nice (drinks not included). Then off to Wadi Rum where we had 2 hours enjoying this beautiful desert - even walked a canyon the Lawrence of Arabia lived in. We had a blast on the back of the Toyota Hilux well side utes. Once we mastered scrambling on board we were away. I am now back on board our cruise ship - exhausted but very happy.

We will not actually get to experience this tour in Fall 2020 due to COVID-19 and pause of cruising voyages. However, I would like to compliment JH for their understanding and prompt refund of $99 USD deposit. I will for sure look to book with them when we do get the opportunity to visit Aqaba and Petra.
