De afgelopen jaren is Lima wereldwijd beschouwd als een van de beste voedselhoofdsteden. Kom met ons mee en leer er meer over door lokale markten te bezoeken en te communiceren met de vriendelijke mensen. We halen je op bij je accommodatie of hotel en gaan naar de Chorrillos Fishing Market, waar we meer te weten komen over het werk van de vissers en de zee. Daarna bezoeken we twee markten in Surquillo, waar we het dagmenu proeven, inclusief ceviche, fruit en meer! Exotisch fruit, tapas, typische gerechten, drankjes en meer zijn inbegrepen. Chorrillos "De belangrijkste lokale vismarkt van Lima". Dit is de eerste plaats die we bezoeken waar je leert over een van de belangrijkste economieën van Peru (vissen). Je lokale gids zal je ook de verschillende gereedschappen en aas laten zien die door de lokale bevolking worden gebruikt om die belangrijke activiteit te doen. Je ziet de Peruaanse zee van heel dichtbij en weet waarom Lima een woestijn is.
De wijk Surquillo wordt momenteel de nieuwe gastronomische hoofdstad van Lima, en het begon allemaal met de Surquillo 2-markt, dankzij de grote verscheidenheid aan verse en biologische producten, evenals het heerlijke eten in de restaurants op het terrein! Hier proberen we het dagmenu en eten als een lokale Limeño! We bezoeken de vlees-, groente- en fruitafdelingen en u ziet de grote verscheidenheid aan producten die deze geweldige markt biedt! Daarna proberen we het meest representatieve gerecht van Peru, Ceviche. Het zal zeker een van de meest verse gerechten zijn die je in de stad zult proberen. Je kunt hier je Spaans oefenen met mijn verkopersvrienden.
We bezoeken de straatmarkt Surquillo 1, waar we lokaal fruit uit verschillende regio's van het land proberen - de woestijn, bergen en jungle - die opvallen door hun intense, biologische smaak. We proberen wat kleine snacks en leren over hun oorsprong en hoe de dynamiek van een markt in Lima werkt. De verkopers zijn trots op de producten die ze verkopen en pronken altijd graag met de versheid van hun fruit, groenten en vlees!

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Pick-up en drop-off naar uw hotel of Airbnb zijn inbegrepen in een comfortabele auto of busje met airconditioning alleen uit de volgende Lima's districten: Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro, Binnenstad Lima (historisch centrum), Chorrillos, Surquillo, San Borja, Surco, Pueblo Libre, Jesus Maria, Magdalena, San Miguel en Lince. Als u in een andere wijk verblijft of opgehaald wilt worden van het vliegveld of de zeehaven om met ons op tour te gaan, dan moet er een kleine vergoeding betaald worden vanwege de afstand.

Great experience! We went to three markets and were able to try fruits, and other Peruvian specialty dishes. Our guide was very knowledgeable about any about Peru/Lima as he did city tours prior to food tours, so he was able to answer any and all of my questions.

This was a nice food tour. The ceviche was the highlight, but we had several dishes and snacks. I also loved the morada. Highly recommend.
Lucas was an amazing guide, and this was a wonderful tour! It was a small group tour which was nice, and I was the only one who didn't speak Spanish but he made sure to translate everything for me, from group conversations to vendor explanations. Seeing the fish market was a unique experience, and I enjoyed learning about and trying the local fruits and food. It felt like I was learning while going grocery shopping which I absolutely loved! This is a tour that I would recommend if you want a unique tour that gives you a quick peek into the daily lives of the local Lima community and you want to experience something beyond going to museums or restaurants. Also, shout out to Ernesto for being a fantastic driver - punctual, safe, and patient!
Luca gave us a wonderful overview of Peruvian food. We started at the fish market, then went to a market where we tasted a number of Peruvian fruits, most of which we had never had. We ended at Market #2, where we shared 4 dishes at one vendor and then had a ceviche master demonstrate making ceviche, which we then enjoyed. Luca picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Miraflores, so this tour was very convenient. The highlights were the fruit and ceviche.

We went to two amazing market, and then the fishing area by the pier! It was such a great experience for our entire family! We had ages 1 to 50 and everyone enjoyed it! Our tour guide, Lucas was really kind. Made us feel really safe and really knowledgeable of the Peruvian food…. We ate at a spot that was featured in Netflix and we had some really good ceviche in our ceviche making course… we tried some delicious fruits at the fruit market! And got to visit the beach with the pier and the fishing market! We had a one year-old, a nine-year-old, and for adults and it was just such a great family experience!
This was a super fun experience! We did the 930 pick up and we were so full by the end of the tour. Everything was delicious and trying new fruits was so fun. Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic tour inside Peruvian food culture. The guide Lucas was just amazing: he was full of information about both Peruvian history and the Peruvian food culture. I really recommend this experience for a deep step into the mixology of Peruvian food, its recipes and the variety of local ingredients. Thank you Lucas for the great time spent together.
