Perito Moreno-gletsjer - CALAFATE (voetgangersbruggen en navigatie)
Beschrijving
Vanaf het begin houdt de reis aangename verrassingen in. Als we de stad verlaten, zien we rechts het meer van Argentino met zijn Redonda-baai. Daarin kun je een belangrijke verscheidenheid aan vogels zien, met de nadruk op de zwarthalszwaan, flamingo, stoomeend, meerkoet, hooglandgans. Wanneer we bij het park aankomen, hebben we een panoramisch uitzicht op de Perito Moreno-gletsjer. Korte stop om foto's te maken en verder naar Puerto Bajo las Sombras. Hier gaat u aan boord van de boot voor de navigatie door de zuidelijke arm van het Canal de los Témpanos om verschillende uitzichten op de muur van de Perito Moreno-gletsjer te hebben. (Duur: 1 uur) Terug in de haven gaan we naar de voetgangersbruggen waar we een dienstensector voor bezoekers zullen hebben en een systeem van balkons en loopbruggen die wandelingen door verschillende routes en toegang tot verschillende werkelijk ongelooflijke uitzichten op de gletsjer en de nabijheid ervan mogelijk maken. Na wat vrije tijd voor wandelingen en lunch (optioneel), begint de terugkeer naar El Calafate.

Our tour including tour leader and driver and schedule were so good. The only disappointment I had, the Aviator provided me tickets that mentioned our pick up time 8 am in front of hotel, but the tour did not arrive until 9:15 am. I noticed that tour was scheduled same time before; but I didn’t know why the Aviator did it wrong on tickets and did not notify me if there was any change.

Our guide Katerine and driver Nicolas were very professional and made sure everyone understood the tour briefing. She showed numerous pictures to aid in understanding Patagonia, wildlife and the glacier itself. Wonderful sunny day and the boat trip is fantastic!!

Just loved the footbridges and navigation. Both brought me closer to the glacier and we were lucky the sun was out and made everything sparkle more! The thing with this tour company is first they changed it to the afternoon instead of morning, then they told me they would pick me up at my accommodation…then they changed it and said I had to meet them 4 blocks from my place. So I went to the location 4 blocks from my place and they stopped at my place to look for me, then came to the place they told me I’d be picked up at 45 minutes after the time they told me. Also, they told me at 7 pm the night before that I needed to go pick up my park ticket from their office 6 blocks away. So, I don’t know if there is an organizational problem with the company or what? Once on the tour, the guide and driver were good and the tour was great.

This tour was really great, pick up and drop off were both on time and efficient. Sebastian was a great guide and explained everything in English and Spanish. The scenery is beautiful and you get plenty of time on the boat and the foot bridge for photos. One of my favourite days so far!!

How nice it is to travel, this trip was incredible but the most surprising thing is to hear the crush of the ice when it falls, the truth is it is a shame that the pieces of ice break up, but seeing them is something incredible and if you go on the catamaran and it falls One, the waves of the water and how they begin to move, it is a very beautiful sensation.

We had a sunny day so the colors were impressive, in our case we did not get to walk all the walkways, however you can spend hours from a single balcony contemplating that wonder. In our case the way of transfer was to rent a car, (marriage), we were cheaper than hiring a transfer or taxi
Wonderful!! It leaves you speechless. Makes you think about the need to take care of our resources Very well cared for and organized the visiting circuits.
What to say about one of the wonders of the world, impacts excites and makes you rethink your role against nature. We did the navigation on its north face and we could see several detachments, I did not plan to sail, but seeing such a mass of ice makes you want to pass it close. We Argentines are privileged to have such wonder.
