Begin je avontuur met een handige pick-up van Canmore of Banff. Stap aan boord van een comfortabel busje met airconditioning en maak een schilderachtige rit naar Lake Louise. Aankomst bij Lake Louise, beroemd om zijn levendige turquoise kleur, gecreëerd door glacial rock bloem. Het meer wordt omlijst door torenhoge toppen en de Victoriagletsjer. Ga vervolgens naar Moraine Lake (alleen 1 juni - 12 oktober; vervangen door winter attractie wanneer gesloten), genesteld in de Vallei van de Tien Pieken. This was so much more than just a ride to the lakes. We learned of Banff history & founders. Our driver, David has spent many years in the area & was super knowledgeable & open to giving recommendations.
The whole experience was wonderful. During our trip, we accidentally left our souvenir water bottle—which had great sentimental value to us—on the bus. Ian went above and beyond to follow up and help us retrieve it, and we were so grateful to get it back. Alex, our driver, was also very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the journey. Thank you both for making our trip even more memorable!
50 people on coach bus Well organized Alex was our driver and shared interesting information along the route. Once there you are on your own to hike and only have 1.25 hrs at each location. It was just enough time to hike to viewpoint and back. No time for lunch so pack snack to eat on bus.
The drive and scenery were absolutely gorgeous, and the area itself was breathtaking. Unfortunately, our experience with our tour guide, Wayne, overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable tour. At the end of our final tour, as we were boarding the bus, Wayne told us that we needed to pay him **$5 per person**. When we asked why, he explained that it was how he made his money and how he got paid. The way it was presented made it sound as though paying the $5 was required in order to get back on the bus, rather than being an optional tip. What made the situation even more confusing was that he only asked a handful of us for the money and did not ask everyone on the bus. When we questioned this, he became rude, argumentative, and disrespectful instead of simply explaining that gratuities were optional. To be clear, we had every intention of tipping our guide because we appreciate good service. However, we did not appreciate feeling pressured into paying what was presented as a mandatory fee. A simple explanation that tips were appreciated but not required—or even a sign stating that gratuities were optional—would have avoided the misunderstanding entirely. This was our first visit to the Banff area, and it was disappointing to end our experience on this note. While the scenery was incredible, our interaction with Wayne left a negative impression. I hope the company addresses how gratuities are communicated so future guests have a better experience.

It is the only way to see the lakes as private vehicles are not allowed. It was nice to have a drive in as we relaxed in a big commercial bus. People need to be on time just like the airlines. SOL if you miss it. The driver even waited for missing passengers. Thank you James!
A great tour and guide. We had over an hour at each lake and very easy drop off/pick up each time. Our driver was great and gave us lots of information about the lakes, area and his experiences. Viator has always been a great company for tours, I have used them in the past over seas as well. Highly recommend this tour.
There is nowhere to park the car to take this bus. They gave an instruction to park in a public parking lot, which is always full. So we paid but unable to get on this bus for the tour.
Our driver/ guide Dave was excellent Gave us a lot of information about the area while driving us to Lake Louise Trip was cut short because of the rain and previous accident but no partial refund was offered - lost at least an hour and a half from what was scheduled 😢
Attended the tour yesterday picked up from Banff and was bitterly disappointed. The tour said 1 hour fifteen minutes in each spot and we got just under an hour. The tour overview promised guide with local knowledge instead we got a driver who didn’t say more then two words. He only told us a time to be back at the bus. And to top it off he made us pay him $5 as a mandatory tip??? I was fooled in to thinking it was a park fee but it turned out it was for his own pocket! I have contacted the team to try and at the very least get my 5 dollars back but they have since stoped replying after I asked for it refunded. It is a beautiful place but use another company to get you there.
