Bezoek USS Arizona en Battleship Missouri, omdat ze zowel het begin als het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog vertegenwoordigen. De bijbehorende “Road to War” en “Attack” exposeren galerijen die foto’s en teruggevonden items tonen van de gebeurtenissen die plaatsvonden in Pearl Harbor en WWII. Bekijk vervolgens een korte film waarin de noodlottige dag en de betekenis ervan worden uitgelegd. Gevolgd door een boottocht naar het USS Arizona Memorial, de laatste rustplaats van de 1.177 bemanningsleden van het schip. USS Missouri heeft trots gediend tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog, de Koreaanse Oorlog en de Golfoorlog voor een 51-jarige carrière. Te water gelaten vanaf de Naval Shipyard in Brooklyn in 1944.

Wees gerust, uw toegewezen ophaallocatie ligt meestal op slechts een korte 5-7 minuten lopen van uw hotel, waardoor het snel en gemakkelijk te bereiken is. Had a great tour with Arelane (hope I got the spelling). She was very informative, funny, gave great background about Pearl Harbor and the sites we were about to see. Very clear about where we needed to go and where to meet. Overall help make it a great tour. For me the highlight of the visit was Mighty Moe. What a great battleship with a stellar history. We were also fortunate to get a great guide for that tour as well who is with the national Park service.
The boarding times can vary. I booked a pickup at the pier for 8:30am. Much to my surprise they switched my pickup time to 7:20am. The entire ordeal was nerve racking because I had to make sure to be first in line to get off the ship. Fortunately I made it at 7:30am. The tour itself was costly and not worth it! I wouldn’t recommend this company. They were very rude when I tried to change my pickup time and I even got hung up on by a very rude guy! This was a very poor experience. Be careful and know the boat to the Arizona Memorial can be cancelled in little to no notice because of weather. The boat was closed down because of high winds. They did open it back up 15 minutes before departure. Overall I would never book this tour with this company again!

This tour was an amazing way to experience Pearl Harbor for the first time! We visited on July 3rd, so it was a very busy day, but everything was well organized and made the experience easy and enjoyable. Our driver was fantastic! She (Roro) was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable about the island, and did a great job explaining where to go, where to meet, and what to expect throughout the day. It was so nice not having to worry about parking or navigating traffic—we were able to relax and focus on taking in this incredible, historic place. The only thing I wished for was a little more time at each stop. At the USS Arizona Memorial, there are exhibits and a short film before you board the boat, and I would have loved more time to fully experience everything. I felt the same way about the USS Missouri—it was such an amazing ship, and I could have easily spent another hour exploring. Even with that, this tour was absolutely worth it. For anyone visiting Pearl Harbor for the first time, I highly recommend it. It takes the stress out of planning and helps you make the most of your visit. Now that I know the layout, I'd probably explore on my own next time, but I'm so glad this was my first Pearl Harbor experience. It was a wonderful day, and I highly recommend this tour!

Great experience. Wear good shoes and appropriate clothes on the Missouri. Lots of stairs in which you have to climb down backwards. The deck is windy so watch your hat choice and bring a water bottle with a strap for ease.
Tour was informative and well organized. Enjoyed our driver, Sam. We chose the Ala Moana hotel for a pickup location. If you’re driving, there is a pay-to-park garage next to the hotel.
