Bali Hai Pier – algemeen bekend als Pattaya Pier – is een centraal kenmerk van de stad, gelegen aan het einde van Walking Street, nabij het zuidelijkste punt van Pattaya Bay. Het is een bijenkorf van activiteit, met eindeloze dagjesmensen op weg naar het nabijgelegen Coral Island (Koh Larn), evenals duikers, sportvissers en zelfs privécharterboottochten die vertrekken of terugkeren naar het droge. De steiger strekt zich vrij ver uit in de baai en is aan weerszijden omzoomd met boten van alle beschrijvingen. Het is duidelijk te zien vanaf Pattaya View Point en is nu een klassiek beeld van Pattaya zelf geworden.
Bezoek dan Pattaya Viewpoint (Khao Pattaya View Point) op Pratumnak Hill, het beste uitzichtpunt in de regio en de plek om dag en nacht te bezoeken om die klassieke foto van Pattaya's uitgestrekte halve maan baai te maken.
- Ga naar Big Buddha Hill of Wat Phra Yai, je ziet het grootste Boeddha-beeld van de provincie Chonburi, zichtbaar van veraf de heuvel na. Het Boeddhabeeld bevindt zich op de Pratamnak-heuvel, net ten zuiden van de stad Pattaya. Als u de weg naar de top van de heuvel oprijdt, krijgt u een aantal zeer mooie uitzichten over de baai van Pattaya.
Khao Chi Chan, ook bekend als Boeddhaberg, is een opmerkelijke natuurlijke en culturele attractie in de buurt van Pattaya, Thailand. Dit ontzagwekkende monument heeft een enorm Boeddhabeeld uitgehouwen in het gezicht van een kalkstenen heuvel, waardoor het een gezicht is dat bezoekers met ontzag achterlaat. De volgende stop is Pattaya's Gems Gallery. Je wordt naar een speelgoedtrein geleid waar je een gesimuleerde demonstratie krijgt van de reis van een edelsteen, van ruw gesneden tot het eindproduct. Er wordt gezegd dat de Pearl Section een hoogtepunt is vanwege de voortreffelijke ontwerpen die altijd indruk maken.

The place was amazing and i learned a lot of things about gemstones such as how they ware processed and the employees of gems gallery was kind and entertaining , overall it was a good experience
The tour guide was the worst I have ever had in my whole life travel experience. He verified my hotel address and name one day in advance, but on the day of the trip, he went to another hotel (I really cannot understand how this happened, the hotel names were not even similar). Secondly, he told me to pay extra money to join the tour because he claimed I had only paid 200 baht. I had to argue with him for a while telling him to check my payment, for I had paid $18 USD, which is not 200baht, but he insisted that $18 USD is 200 baht. I’m not sure if he was trying to scam me or if he just couldn’t do simple math. Only after I showed my Viator reservation, which included the full trip description, he said I could join as long as I had a QR code. As for the tour itself, he talked about whatever, especially when we were visiting the temple, which had nothing to do with the real story of the Buddha. When I corrected him, he became quiet. I really don’t know if he was a certified tour guide or if the tour company just picked whoever was available. His English was, of course, poor. (like, called incense chopsticks) He kind of speaks English, but not very well.

Well the driver apparently didn't know we existed, till I made multiple phone calls. Well not much to see probably. We spent some time together roaming in the streets.

Better to give a baht bus driver B500 to take you to these places. You could have four for the price of B500. Skip the gems museum this is just a ploy to expose you to a hard sell on overpriced gems. There are no admission charges for these attractions so the “admission price included” does not apply.

Things didn’t start well. Guide was 45 minutes late and didn’t give a good reason for her tardiness. She didn’t know which tour we had booked. This was supposed to be a 4 hour guided tour. Instead - it was 1 hour 15 minutes, and pretty much unguided. We would have learned the same if we had just taken a taxi to the points of interest. For most of the time in the car the guide was on her phone talking to colleagues and other clients. I would say that she spoke more on the phone than she did to us. Very unprofessional. I have asked Viator to contact me to provide a full refund. I’ve never posted a negative review on TripAdvisor previously. This was just SO bad. 😕

Firstly, the tour coordinator was quite good and was very co-operative. Our driver-cum-tour-guide Fanta was quite experienced. He spoke good English and had a good knowledge of each of the visiting places. Overall quite good experience except the heat.
