Pat Conroy's familie verhuisde naar Beaufort toen hij 15 was. Hij adopteerde Beaufort als zijn huis en Beaufort nam Pat over als de onze! Ga met ons mee op deze 1 1/2 uur durende tour door 'Pat's Conroy's Beaufort', van zijn jeugd naar zijn favoriete restaurant tot Prince of Tides en Great Santini-locaties in de verfilmingen van de autobiografische boeken van Pat.

Onze tour begint op 1006 Bay Street, tegenover de Beaufort Downtown Marina Ship's Store.
Pat's vader, de Grote Santini, ligt hier begraven, evenals Pat's moeder Peg. Het is ook het toneel van de 'vermiste man fly-over' in de film 'The Great Santini'.
Aan het einde van de tour heb je de mogelijkheid om hier afgezet te worden. Open van donderdag tot en met zondag van 12.00 tot 16.00 uur.

This experience was really special to me. It was priceless, actually. Pat Conroy is one of my favorite authors and I really felt like I got to know him through the tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable as she had known the author. I also got to meet the author's sister at the Pat Conroy Literary Center which I was not expecting. That's what made it a priceless experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our golf cart tour. Bill was an excellent tour guide providing great information an anecotes. His ability to get us a tour of the Pat Conroy Literary Center when it was closed to the general public was a great surprise. We highly recommend this tour and Bill. We now have a much greater understanding of Pat Conroy the author and the man.
If you love Pat Conroy, you will love this tour. we learned a lot. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Very enjoyable tour that lasted about an hour and 15 minutes. Janet was well-versed on all things Pat Conroy! We also heard about the history of the area, and we took a very informative ride through the national cemetery. I would highly recommend this tour.

Katelyn was a great your guide. She brought us to some wonderful sites. The National Cemetery was an interesting site. The information on the sea island cotton and the boll weavle was a highlight. We loved the beautiful homes.
