Deze tour geeft je de mogelijkheid om de geheimen van het oude Pompeii te ontdekken. Een bezoek aan de oude stad Pompeii is een unieke ervaring, omdat het belangrijkste en interessantste element voor de toeristen niet het monument of de kunstwerken zijn (dan ook in Pompeii ontbreken ze niet), maar de mogelijkheid om het dagelijkse leven van zijn oude inwoners. Pompeii bezoeken is alsof je in een lunapark bent, met het luidruchtige verschil dat er hier niets virtueels is, nul van gereconstrueerd, nul van onwaar, maar het is allemaal echt.

Het huis van de dansende Faun in Pompeii, gebouwd in II de eeuw en vervolgens verbreed in de eeuw daarna, is dit Huis van de Faun een van de mooiste maar vooral breedste huizen van Pompeii. Het oppervlak beslaat 2970 vierkante meter.

De schilderijen zijn in mythologisch onderwerp en in de inkomhal vinden we al spectaculaire voorstellingen, zoals Zeus en Hera en Achille en Briseide.
Het is niet correct om over het Theater van Pompeii te praten, want er waren eigenlijk twee theaters, een grotere die onbedekt was en een kleinere, overdekt, genaamd Odeion. Het grote theater wordt nog steeds gebruikt voor allerlei soorten shows, om de continuïteit tussen de oude stad en de moderne wereld te getuigen.
