Wil je het hele gezin plezieren? Wat dacht je van een zoektocht naar snoep en chocolade in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, een wijk met de beste chocolademakers en banketbakkersmerken in Parijs. Deze speelse en gastronomische tour omvat 7 proeverijen. Tijdens de rondleiding nemen uw kinderen deel aan een speurtocht om de volgende winkel te ontdekken waar u enkele van de beste Franse delicatessen kunt proeven: macarons, karamel en verschillende soorten chocolade! Om te beginnen betreed je de oudste chocoladefabriek van Parijs. Verderop zijn macarons aan de orde van de dag. De volgende ontdekking betreft een Franse specialiteit waar je allerlei lekkernijen van kunt maken, of het nu snoep, jam of room is: gezouten boterkaramel. Je zult zeker genieten van enkele van deze karamelrecepten voordat je terugkeert naar gebak om in een heerlijke slagroomsoes te bijten. Het bezoek eindigt in de zomer met een van de beste ijsjes van Parijs, en in de winter met een verkwikkende warme chocolademelk.

Om te beginnen stapt het hele gezin de oudste chocoladewinkel van Parijs binnen. De etalage is net zo mooi als de geselecteerde chocolaatjes lekker zijn. Verderop zijn macarons in orde. Uw kinderen kiezen zelf de gewenste smaak uit een aanbod van vijftien, want jonge fijnproevers kunnen echte kenners zijn. Ontdek vervolgens de wijk Odéon, waar het allemaal draait om een Franse specialiteit waarmee u alle lekkernijen kunt bereiden, of het nu gaat om snoep, jam of roomvulling: gezouten boterkaramel. Je zult genieten van een paar van deze karamelrecepten voordat je je aandacht weer op chocolade richt. Je bezoekt afwisselend twee bijzondere chocoladefabrieken. De eerste toont een breed scala aan zorgvuldig bereide chocolademousse. Absoluut adembenemend! Moussen zijn een lust voor het oog, maar de verpakking van de repen is een lust voor het oog. Je laatste stop geeft je de mogelijkheid om een drankje te delen met je gids in de warme sfeer van een chocoladewinkel, of in de zomer een van de beste ijsjes van Parijs

Highly recommended! Arina was an amazing guide — so friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to spend time with. We loved trying places and treats we never would have found on our own, and it was great to learn more about the area along the way. It was a wonderful experience for our whole family and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We would love to do another!
We had an amazing time on our tour. We learned things, we ate snacks - our 9 and 13 year old were engaged the whole time and even discovered new favorite foods in France.
Marcella from Meet the Locals made the sweets tour through the St Germain area so fun! She took us to many beautiful specialty shops while tellins us about the foods and the charming area. We were able to try delicious treats like chocolates, caramels, macarons, hot chocolate, crepes, meringue cakes and unique jams during as blind tasting visit to a very elegant jam shop. The experience was very memorable, and I would highly recommend Meet the Locals. Their communication, organized planning details and tour guide were fabulous!

Tifenn was delightful! She felt like a longtime family friend. She’d done her homework and knew all 6 of our names right off the bat. We have 4 kids, ages 6 through 15 and Tifenn kept them all engaged and involved. It was a highlight to our trip to Paris! Just make sure you show up hungry!
Highly recommend this company! The booking process was easy - Dominique was super responsive and helpful with questions we had. Our guide Nathalie was so amazing we would have hung out with her all day if she let us ;-) She gave us the most exquisite tour of the Marais area visiting patisseries, chocolatiers and other tasty surprises, telling us stories about Paris and more along the way. We loved every minute of our time with her (my husband, myself and our 12 yr old daughter) Would definitely use them again in the future!

Wow! This was so much more than we expected. A highlight of our trip. Tifenn, our guide, took us and our kids (11 and 13) to about 7 different places and 7 unique treats. It took about 2 hours and the walking was in a small area. Tifenn was a great storyteller giving us the history of the treats and the stores. A highlight of our trip!
Our tour was fantastic. We went to 7 different spots, and learned the history of the area while eating delicious treats. Our host was knowledgeable and personable, and even kept our kids engaged for the entirety of the tour. We would do this again!
This was a fun and engaging experience. We learned some fun food and Parisian history while enjoying some yummy treats. Nathalie was very friendly, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. I enjoyed how she interacted directly with our 12 year old son to get him more engaged with the experience. This was certainly a fun way to experience Paris and create some unique family memories.
Meet the Locals is THE BEST tour company in Europe!! Our family has been a client of Meet the Locals for the last 7-8 years, since we first started to travel to France with our children at age 3 and 5. (They are now 10 and 12). We finished our holiday trip in Paris with a sweets tour in Le Marais with Amy, who gave us a wonderful day strolling through Le Marais, learning about its architecture and history while tasting a variety of delicious Parisian sweets.
