Monty provided us a wonderful tour for 2 hours that was both very informative and kept our 8 and 9 year olds engaged. This was a wonderful way to see the highlights without wasting time trying to navigate the huge museum. Monty was patient when we asked for things to be repeated and was able to provide excellent additional information when we asked for a deeper understanding of certain sculptures or paintings. Sally was a photographer that joined us and she was kind, respectful and non-intrusive. I have yet to be disappointed by any tour with Viator.
Our Louvre tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Monty, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and engaging from start to finish. He brought the museum to life with fascinating stories and made the experience fun and interactive for our children, keeping them interested the entire time. They struck the perfect balance between educating and entertaining, tailoring the tour to our family’s interests and pace. We left with a much deeper appreciation of the Louvre and wonderful memories. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Paris, especially families with children.
Hafid Very knowledgeable. For people that don’t know a lot about art, he taught us a lot. Also kept it entertaining as well.

This tour was canceled by the operator just two days before our scheduled visit to the Louvre. While Viator should refund the booking, the short notice left us with no realistic opportunity to secure alternative Louvre tickets during our stay in Paris, as most dates were already sold out. I cannot comment on the quality of the tour itself since it never took place, but I was very disappointed by the late cancellation and the impact it had on our travel plans. When travelers are visiting from overseas and have limited time, a cancellation this close to the tour date meant we are missing a major attraction entirely.

Hiring a guide is not expensive and the convenience of getting into the louvre so quickly and without lines is worth slightly more. Great guide and love the extra history you get with a private guide.
