Het is een van 's werelds meest geliefde snoepjes, maar weinigen weten er veel van. In het Gourmet Chocolate Museum (Musée Gourmand du Chocolat) in Parijs proef je de evolutie van chocolade terwijl je het 4000-jarige verleden volgt, van mystieke cacaorituelen in oude Azteekse stammen tot de glimmende chocoladetraktaties die je in de etalages van chique Parijse chocolatiers ziet glimmen. Proef een verscheidenheid aan chocoladeproducten terwijl je getuige bent van hoe ze worden gemaakt, en geniet van een kopje warme chocolademelk aan het einde (indien optie geselecteerd). Audiogids verkrijgbaar bij de welkomstbalie (3 euro/persoon) in het Frans, Engels, Spaans, Portugees, Italiaans, Duits & Nederlands.

From arriving to going around this is a very impressive and interesting museum, i thought i new a lot about the history of chocolate but i found out today i know very little, i would highly recomend you visit and spend time just reading the signs and taking in the history about chocolate, i love chocolate and the fact that you can eat as much as you like from the various vending machines on the tour, plus if you pay for the tour you get given a free sample to eat after you watch a small demonstration about making chocolate and can enjoy a hot chocolate at the end of the tour makes this for me a must do place, if i could i would rate this museum 100 out of 100

It did not meet my expectations...
Lamentamos sinceramente que su visita no haya estado a la altura de lo que esperaba. En Choco-Story París nos esforzamos por ofrecer una experiencia inmersiva en el mundo del cacao, con demostraciones virtuales, degustaciones y recorridos especialmente diseñados para los más pequeños. Confiamos en que, con pequeños ajustes, podremos sorprenderle en una próxima ocasión. Su opinión nos ayuda a mejorar cada día.
This is a fab place to visit. I booked it without much of a thought around what it would be like, more so because my children love chocolate. We spent 2 hours here learning all about the origins of hot chocolate and then the production of bars of chocolate. There are quite a few interactive sections, including tasting chocolate on the way around and loads of really interesting infographics to see too. There is a simulated presentation at the end where you get to see the chocolate being made and then taste them (if you've kept your chocolate pouch until the end!) and we paid the extra few Euros for a hot choc each at the end. There is a lovely gift shop too. This is a really fun, interesting and tasty experience, highly recommend for all ages.

With my little girl Clara and a friend.. Delighted with the chocolate workshop.. Tastings in the very fun museum and they left with the chocolates they had made..

Wonderful explanations in multiple languages. Samples of what was being discussed along the way. Lots more porcelain than the Orlando Museum. Interactive smells, free email picture and great gift shop. Optional cost hot chocolate gives one the opportunity to try the ancient styles. HIGHLY recommend for US tourists tired if big museums.

Too expensive for this museum There is only reading nothing special 2 mini chocolate balls to taste it doesn’t come out much if it’s not too expensive for adults and children
