Ja, de Luberon is de bekendste regio van de Provence. Ja, je komt toeristen van over de hele wereld tegen. Er zijn meer dan 100 dorpen in de Luberon, maar het doel van deze tour is niet om rond te rennen en zoveel mogelijk te zien, maar om te ontspannen en te genieten van de plaatsen waar we stoppen. We beginnen met de Abdij van Sénanque, waar u de mystieke sfeer van dit 12e-eeuwse klooster kunt ervaren. We maken dan een korte stop bij het uitzichtpunt met uitzicht op Gordes. Een prachtig panorama van dit middeleeuwse dorp, een glas rosé in de hand en een aantal lokale hapjes, ik weet zeker dat het een van "deze" onvergetelijke momenten zal zijn .. Na uw lunch gaan we naar Roussillon, een kleurrijk dorp vol smalle straatjes vol winkels waar u het allerbeste vindt dat lokale ambachtslieden te bieden hebben. Dit wordt uw ansichtkaartendag in de iconische Provence, maar ook een ontspannende dag die ik u uitnodig om op een zo authentiek mogelijke manier te beleven.

Bezoeken en wandelen in dit oude, prachtige, inconische Provençaalse dorp uit de 12e eeuw. Het kasteel en de rotswoningen, de kleine steegjes en de chique boetieks laten je terugreizen in het verleden.
Een geweldig okerdorp, lunchtijd, vrije tijd om het okerpad te bezoeken en door het dorp met zijn boetieks en cafés te wandelen. Je leert meer over de okerproductie en bewondert het prachtige uitzicht op de Luberon-regio.
Prachtige weg door Luberon National Park, bergen, heuvels, wijngaarden, wijnvelden, authentiek Provençaals landschap.
Een inspirerende plek, een oud klooster met lavendelvelden en prachtige middeleeuwse architectuur..net als een ansichtkaart!:)

My daughter and I loved our day with Anthony touring the Luberon valley. Anthony was prompt, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The sights were fantastic. What a lovely experience - will definitely book through this group again!

We had a truly fantastic day out with Tom from Happy Day in Provence and would highly recommend him to any visitor to the region! Tom was very organised and a great communicator, both before and during the tour. He checked with us ahead of time about what we wanted to get out of the day and as a result we really loved every moment of our tour out and about in Provence, visiting the beautiful old hilltop towns of Gordes and Roussillon (with all the incredible ochre), and driving through stunning Provençal landscapes. The wine, olives and deli sausages along the way were an absolute treat, and we had plenty of opportunities during the day to explore the towns, have lunch, take photos from lookouts etc. Tom knows the region well and was brilliant at explaining things along the way, including the local wine making processes. He is such a nice guy and took a genuine interest in making sure our tour was the best! Don’t let winter put you off - we had an amazing day out in mid-January! We would HIGHLY recommend Tom and Happy Day in Provence!

Highly recommend this tour, well worth the investment. The guide Tom was extremely professional, courteous, accommodating, and knowledgeable. This was a highlight on our European trip, we will be recommending highly to friends and family. Goes without saying, but the different tours Tom has organized include beautiful landscapes and history, you will not regret any of his tours through southern France. - James

A beautiful Luberon village nestled on a clifftop, famous for its ferrous ochre. There are many craft shops and art galleries. There are trails that lead to the ferrous forests

Beautiful surroundings and views! The abbey was very tranquil and peaceful and allowed for a time of reflection whilst also teaching us about the history of the abbey which was fascinating. As a Scot it was very accessible with the tablets as they had the option for English. The reception also had the option to explain how everything worked in English. The abbey itself was gorgeous inside and out and well worth a visit.
